This could be a fairly popular seller if it were not so absurdly priced. What is more common than a feral pigeon (yes, the pigeons we all know and love, or don't know and don't love, are neither wild nor domesticated. They are feral. This is excellent in terms of science, in terms of readability. We learn how intelligent those birds are (they can recognize every letter of the alphabet). We learn their elaborate courtship rituals (they mate for life). And on and on. It's a lovely book. I highly recommend it. ( )
