God showeth Jeremiah the return of the Jews.

27 Now therefore why hast thou not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth, which maketh himself a prophet to you?

28 For therefore he sent unto us in Babylon, saying, This captivity is long: buildg ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

29 And Zephaniah the priest read this letter in the ears of Jeremiah! the prophet.

1 The restoration of Israel. 22 Christ is promised.

A LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

2 Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when a I went to cause him to rest.

3 The LORD hath appeared 1 of old unto me, saying, Yea, 1 have loved b thee with an everlasting c love therefore 2 with loving-kindness have I drawnd thee.

4 Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy 3 tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make

merry.

8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gatherf them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child g together a great company shall return thither.
