The Committee on the Judiciary is pleased to make available once again a compilation of the Civil Rights Acts since 1957, including the Voting Rights Act of 1965 as amended. Growing interest in the subject of civil rights by private citizens as well as community organizations demonstrates the need for such a document. To meet this demand, the Committee has compiled for public use this updated version of the Committee Print published first in 1960 and revised in 1970.
