Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.—Ps. xxxi. 5.

For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.-Ps. xxxvi. 9.

The Lord knoweth the days of the upright and their inheritance shall be for ever.-Ps. xxxvii. 18. Wait on the Lord, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land.-34.

For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.—Ps. xlviii. 14.

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.-Ps. li. 12.

For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?-Ps. lvi. 13.

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.-Ps. lxii. 5.

He that is our God is the God of our salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.-Ps. lxviii. 20.

He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.-Prov. ii. 8.

The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.-Prov. xiv. 27.

The righteous hath hope in his death.—32.

For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.—Prov. xxiii. 18.

The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.-Isa. lvii. 1.

He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.-2. ...The king of Israel, even the Lord is in the midst of thee thou shalt not see evil any more.-Zeph. iii. 15.

The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.-17.

LIFE AFTER DEATH.

FUTURE HAPPINESS.

Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.-Gen. v. 24.

Thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace.-Gen. xv. 15. I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord.Gen. xlix. 18.

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;-Deut. xxx. 15.

I have set before you life and death;...therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.-19.

See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive.-Deut. xxxii. 39. I rejoice in thy salvation.-1 Sam. ii. 1.

The Lord killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.-6.

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust,...to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory.-8.

And he (David) said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether God will be gracious to me, that the child may live?— 2 Sam. xii. 22.

But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.-2 Sam. xii. 23.

For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:Job xix. 25.

...In my flesh shall I see God:-26.

Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.-27.

I have set the Lord always before me because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.-Ps. xvi. 8. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.-9.

For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.-10. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.-11.

As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.Ps. xvii. 15.

He (the king) asked life of thee, and thou gavest him, even length of days for ever and ever.-Ps. xxi. 4. His glory is great in thy salvation...5.

For thou hast made him most blessed for ever.-6.

He (the Lord) restoreth my soul...Ps. xxiii. 3.
Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord, or who

shall stand in his holy place?-Ps. xxiv. 3.

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart,...4. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.-5.

O how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men !— Ps. xxxi 19.
