I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.-Ps. xl. 10.

...The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts: I will go also.Zech. viii. 21.

Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord.-22.

My covenant was with him (Levi) of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me...Mal. ii. 5.

The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.-6.

GOD GIVES US STRENGTH.

The archers have sorely grieved him, (Joseph) and shot at him:... Gen. xlix. 23.

But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob.-24.

The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation... Ex. xv. 2.

And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth...1 Sam. xvii. 33.

David said,... The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee.-37.

So David...smote the Philistine...50.

And Jonathan, Saul's son arose, and went to

David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.-1 Sam. xxiii. 16.

God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.-2 Sam. xxii. 33.

Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.-3.

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.-14.
