For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.-13.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.-Isa. xliii. 2.

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth for I am God, and there is none else. -Isa. xlv. 22.

...Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.—Gen. xv. 1.

And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.-6.

And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,—Gen. xxii. 15.

And said,...for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son :-16.

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven...17.

And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.-18. ...Fear not, for I am with thee... Gen. xxvi. 24.

...I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation.-Gen. xlvi. 3.

That they may believe that the Lord God of their fathers,...hath appeared unto thee.—Ex. iv. 5.

And the people believed: and when they heard

that the Lord had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.-Ex. iv. 31.

Behold, to-morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail... Ex. ix. 18.

Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field: for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.-19.

He that feared the word of the Lord among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:-20.
