For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy... Eccl. ii. 26.

I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.-Eccl. iii. 12. ...The Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song;... Isa. xii. 2.

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.-3.

The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.-Isa. xiv. 7.

Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee...8.

...This is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.-Isa. xxv. 9.

The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.-Isa. xxix. 19.

NONE BUT A WILLING SERVICE

IS PLEASING TO GOD.

Take ye from among you an offering unto the Lord whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the Lord...Ex. xxxv. 5.

And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord's offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service...21.

And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted...22.

The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.-29.

And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the Lord, ye shall offer it at your own will.-Lev. xix. 5. And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the Lord, offer it at your own will.-Lev. xxii. 29.

Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee.-Deut. xvi. 17.

...Choose you this day whom ye will serve ;...but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.Josh. xxiv. 15.

My heart is toward the governors of Israel, that offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless ye the Lord.--Jud. v. 9.

...Know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind... 1 Ch. xxviii. 9.

...Who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the Lord ?-1 Ch. xxix. 5.

Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel,... offered willingly.-6.

Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the Lord...9.

But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.-14.

...As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.-17.

And next him was Amasiah the son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself unto the Lord.-2 Ch. xvii. 16.
