B

And there17 was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And he opened the 'book, and found the place where it was written,

To proclaim the_acceptable19 year of the Lord.

And he closed the book,20 and gave it back to the attendant, and sat down: and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him. But of a truth I25 say unto you, There were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when there came a great famine over all the land; and unto none of them was26 Elijah sent, but only to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow. And there were many lepers27 in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.

MATT 9:36-II:1

But when he saw the mul-36 titudes, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were distressed and scattered, as sheep not having a shepherd.

B

Then saith he unto37 his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore38 the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth labourers into his harvest. сс And he called un-10: to him his twelve disciples, and I gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of disease and all manner of sickness. D Now the names of the 2 twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip, and 3 Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphæus, and Thaddæus; Simon the 4Cananæan, 4 and Judas Iscariot, who also ❝betrayed him.
