MORNING.-Bible Question:

"The cup which My Father hath given Me, shall I not drink it?"— John xviii. II.

"O My Father, if this cup may not pass away from Me, except I drink it, Thy will be done."-Matt. xxvi. 42.

NOON.-Promise and Precept:

"I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of My fury; thou shalt no more drink IT again."—Isa. li. 22.

"He took the cup when He had supped, saying, THIS cup is the New Testament in My blood; THIS do ye, as oft as ye drink it in remembrance of Me." -1 Cor. xi. 25.

NIGHT.-Prayer and Praise :

"Father, if Thou be willing, remove this cup from me; nevertheless not my will, but Thine be done."-- Luke xxii.42.

"In the hand of the Lord is a cup;...and He poureth out of the same."-Psa. lxxv. 8.

MORNING.-Bible Question:

"Seekest thou great things for thyself?”—Jer. xlv. 5.

"Covet earnestly the best gifts; and yet show I unto you a more excellent way."1 Cor. xii. 31 (comp. xiii. 8).

NOON.-Promise and Precept:

"The Lord shall greatly bless thee..."-Deut. xv. 4.

"...only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God to observe to do all these commandments."-Ver. 5.

NIGHT.-Prayer and Praise :

"O that Thou wouldest...enlarge my coast."-1 Chron. iv. 10.

"The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich; He bringeth low, and lifteth up."- -1 Sam. ii. 7.

MORNING.-Bible Question:

"Who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive?"-I Cor. iv.

"Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us. -Psa. cxxiii. 3.

"Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto Thy name give glory, for Thy mercy and for Thy truth's sake."-Ib. cxv. 1.

MORNING.-Bible Question:

"Know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?”– James iv. 4.

"If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." -I John ii. 15.

NOON.-Promise and Precept:

"Ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto Me above all people."-Exod. xix. 5. "Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves;...the Lord hath taken you...to be unto Him a people."-Deut. iv. 15 (comp. 20).

NIGHT.-Prayer and Praise :

"Deliver my soul...from men of the world, which have their portion in this life."-Psa. xvii. 13, 14.

"Praise the Lord;... for the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto Himself, and Israel for His peculiar treasure."-Ib. cxxxv. 3, 4.

MORNING.—Bible Question :

"Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little...Why? saith the Lord of hosts."-Hag. i. 9.

"Because of Mine house that is waste."Ibid (comp. ver. 4).

NOON.-Promise and Precept:

"Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store."-Deut. xxviii. 5.

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house."Mal. iii. 10.

NIGHT.-Prayer and Praise :

"Bless, Lord, his substance, and accept the work of his hands.”—Deut. xxxiii. II.

"The Lord thy God blesseth thee, as He promised.”—Ib. xv. 6.
