REMARKS. This Mission was organized several years ago, and has for its purpose more the uplift than the building of the Church at present. There are only 44 families in the place, Flat Top Yards, numbering in all 242 souls. Much bitter opposition is to be overcome, but some real interest is shown.

REMARKS. Since the beginning of the rectorship of Rev. M. C. Daughtrey, our membership has increased fifty per cent., and we have had built a new Guild and Vestry room, a new Parish Hall with kitchen and other accessories equipped in the basement of the Church, and we have also had built a Belfry, with a good bell, kneeling benches, a new Chancel, and a beautiful new Pulpit. The Church has also been painted. The Rector and congregation are now most anxious to defray the Church's indebtedness of $1,200.00. Our Guilds are well attended, as are also the Church services.
