FINANCIAL EXHIBIT.

RECEIPTS.-Total receipts during the year, $352.70. DISBURSEMENTS.-Parochial: Current expenses, $328.14. Diocesan: Diocesan Expenses, $16.00; Diocesan Missions, $5.00; total Diocesan, $21.00. Total disbursements, $349.14.

REMARKS.-The Rector, because of illness, was absent from the Parish for more than seven months. Mr. N. E. Taylor our Lay Reader, held a service each Sunday morning during the Rector's absence. The Rector voluntarily relinquished his salary during three months of his absence, to-wit: January February, and March, 1914. This has been a year of great depression here, and many persons have gone elsewhere in search of employment, and the loss of members has been large.

REMARKS. The foregoing statement includes finances of the Sunday Schools and Woman's Auxiliary for the entire year, and of the Church Mission from August 1, 1913 (when local organization became effective), a period of nine months. Of the balance of $74.99, there is in treasury $56.59, with Auxiliary $18.40, total $74.99.

REMARKS.-Mrs. Kate L. Smith, of Norfolk, is the resident worker at this point. She maintains both a Sunday School and Day School, and is kept constantly at work with general visiting. She began the work here in September, 1912, and her salary is paid by St. Andrew's Church, in Norfolk. Her house is furnished and also heated and lighted by the Coal Company.

Twenty-five services have been held at this point during the past year.

The places known as Wilder, Hurricane, Slemp and Laurel, are all very near together in the same little valley, and this work covers them all.

REMARKS.-We have had no Rector for a year last January. At best have only one Sunday in the month when we have a regular Rector. Rev. Mr. Craighill, of Wytheville, has arranged to come here as a Mission station the 1st Thursday in every month, and asks only his expenses, but we have arranged to give him five dollars each visit.
