REMARKS.-The Rector, because of illness, was absent from the Parish for more than seven months. Mr. N. E. Taylor our Lay Reader, held a service each Sunday morning during the Rector's absence. The Rector voluntarily relinquished his salary during three months of his absence, to-wit: January February, and March, 1914. She maintains both a Sunday School and Day School, and is kept constantly at work with general visiting. She began the work here in September, 1912, and her salary is paid by St. Andrew's Church, in Norfolk. Her house is furnished and also heated and lighted by the Coal Company. Twenty-five services have been held at this point during the past year.
