and one of them be gone astray; doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. Even so, it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
“Moreover, if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone. If he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother ; but if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or iwo more; that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every

" Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven ; and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
And the apostles said unto the Lord; “ Increase our faith.”

sycamnine tree; 'Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea ;' and it should obey you. But which of you having a servant ploughing, or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field ; Go and sit down to meat ?" And will not rather say unto him ; . Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink ?' Doth he thank that servant, because he did the things that were commanded him ? I trow not. So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say; · We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which was our duty to do.'"
Then came Peter to him, and said ; “Lord, Mali. how oft shall my brother sin against me, and 21I forgive him ? till seven times ?"
Jesus saith unto him ; " I say not unto thee, until seven times, but until seventy times seven. Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him which owed him ten thousand talents. But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying ; 'Lord have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. Then the Lord of that servant was moved with com
passion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellow-servants, which owed him a hundred pence; and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, şaying ; • Pay me that thou owest.' And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying ; Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.' And he would not; but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. So when his fellow-servants saw what was done, they were very sorry ; and came and told unto their lord all that was done. Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him ; 0 thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me; shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellow-servant, even as I had pity on thee ? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay
all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses."
And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judea, beyond Jordan.

And he sent messengers before his face ; and they went and entered into a village of the Samaritans to make ready for him. And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. And when his disciples, James and John, saw this, they said; + Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did ?”
But he turned, and rebuked them, and said; “ Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.” And they went to another village.
And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusa- l. xvii. lem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

And when he saw them, he said unto them; * Go shew yourselves unto the priests."
And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God; and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks ; and he was a Samaritan.
And Jesus answering, said ; • Were there not ten cleansed ? but where are the nine ? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.” And he said unto him ; “ Arise, go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole."
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said; “ The kingdom of God cometh not with observation; neither shall they say; 'Lo here, or, lo there ;' for behold, the kingdoin of God is within you."
And he said unto the disciples; “ The days will

· See here, or, see there ;' go not after them, nor follow them. For as the lightning that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall the Son of man be in his day. But first he must suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. And as it was in the days
