Bibles, Church Services, and Prayer Books,

in elegantly-designed Morocco, Russia, Ivory, and Velvet bindings, and mounted with oxydised, gilt, and silvered Corners and Clasps, specially adapted for

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR PRESENTS.

The New Portable, imperial 8vo, Great Primer,

Rubricated Altar Services, for Hand Use. In best Turkey morocco, bevelled, 20s.; in rough calf, 145.

The New School Bible, with Accentuation of Proper Names and various Useful Tables. (Nonpareil 16mo). Roan, gilt edges, 35.; Turkey morocco, 5s. 6d. With 4 Coloured Maps, 6d. extra.

"We feel sure that the National Schoolmaster and the School Board Teacher will find this edition of the Bible a most useful prompter.”—Times.

The New Sunday School Prize Bible. (Pearl, 24m0). With 6 Illustrations from the Old Masters, and Landscapes drawn from Photographs by SULMAN, beautifully printed in Colours by LEIGHTON. In French morocco, gilt edges, metal clasp, 25.; in Persian morocco, extra, 3.; or with 12 Illustrations, 2s. 6d. ; in Persian morocco, extra, 35. 6d.

The Theological Student's Bible, with Headings and

Border Lines in Red, and Wide Margins for MS. Notes. The pages are numbered throughout, and an Alphabetical Index is attached to enable the Student to group Notes on special subjects under their respective titles. The red lines serve to keep the Notes distinct from the Text. Specimen Pages and prices post free. From 12s. 6d. to 50s.

The Complete Book of the Services of the Church

of England, rubricated, containing the Prayer Book, together with the Lessons for Sundays, Holy Days, and Daily Lessons. In Turkey morocco or calf, from 12s. 6d.; handsomely bound in ivory, 42s. Sizes 534 by 334 by 1 inches. This Edition is kept in every variety of binding and mounting, and also in Sets of Volumes in handsome cases.

The Lesson Book for Churches (Great Primer, 4to), in which the Sunday, Holy Day, and Daily Lessons are printed each in a separate paragraph in consecutive order, rough calf, £2 45.; best Turkey morocco, £2 17s. 6d. Also kept in handsome Levant morocco binding, with best gilt, and oxydised Clasps and Corners.

"Unlike the Oxford edition, which uses up all the New Testament Lessons during the first half of the Church's year, and during the latter half refers the reader each day to some previous page, where the sought-for Lesson stands under a different date, Mr. Frowd's arrangement gives all the Old Testament Lessons in consecutive order, and afterwards those from the New Testament in the same way. His is certainly the most complete and convenient book for the lectern that has appeared."-The Globe.

The Thin Church Service, rubricated (Brevier, 24mo), 534 by 24 by 7% inches. This Edition is the thinnest Church Service, in a readable, clear type, published. All the London Editions of the Lectionary give the Second Lesson for each Proper Sunday and each Holy Day immediately after the First Lesson for the Day. Persian morocco, 7s.; Turkey morocco, or calf, 9s.; handsomely bound, from 10s. 6d. to 30s.

"In this volume we notice that the Calendar is complete, retaining the Black-letter' Days, which are omitted in the Oxford edition. In it, too, the 'Proper' Second Lesson always follows the Proper First Lesson at full length, instead of the reader being referred to the New Testament, usually bound up with the Prayer Book. It is printed in exquisite type, and the names of Messrs. Eyre and Spottiswoode, the Queen's Printers, are a sufficient guarantee of the accuracy of the text. The New Church Services,' for such we suppose we may call them, of Messrs. Frowd are issued in a variety of sizes, from 16mo down to 32mo, and even 48mo."-The Times.
