TO THE SUBSCRIBERS

OF THE

London Encyclopædia.

T. TEGG most respectfully informs his numerous Friends, the Subscribers of (the largest work ever published by one individual) the LONDON ENCYCLOPEDIA, that it will be fully completed in Forty-four Parts of letter-press and one of plates. In the latter will be given the title pages, directions for placing the plates, binding, &c.; and as many gentlemen have expressed a desire to know the expense of binding, T. T. has subjoined the following List of Prices. Subscribers who are desirous that T. T. should bind their sets, are respectfully informed he has made such arrangements that any quantity can be bound in a very short time. In sending their copies, gentlemen will please to observe, the following scale of prices are to be strictly understood of the very best workmanship, and all payments are to be made in cash.

No. 1. Half bound in calf, double lettered, bands, per volume, 3s. 6d. 2. Whole bound, calf, double lettered, bands, per volume, 4s. 6d. 3. Bound, calf extra, double lettered, bands, per volume, 7s.

4. Half bound, Russia backs and corners, bands, double lettered, per volume, 4s 6d.

5. Whole bound, Russia plain, with bands, double lettered, per volume, 8s.

6. Bound, Russia extra gilt, with bands, double lettered, per volume, 9s.

In ordering the particular class of binding, it will be only necessary to state the number and price. The books will be returned immediately on completion, securely packed in a box to prevent any injury. An order for payment in London is requested when the books are transmitted for binding. The work will make twenty-two volumes.

The Publisher recommends No. 1, 2, and 4, as useful and economical
styles of binding.

SAMPLES OF THE BINDING MAY BE SEEN AT THE PUBLISHER's,
No. 73, CHEAPSIDE, LONDON.

N.B. As it will require some little time after the work is completed before it will be in good condition to bind, the Forty-fourth Part, and the Plates, will be kept back until the 30th of August, it may then be bound without any injury to the work,
