NO SAD COMMUNICATIONS

Luke

Matt. 5:37

But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay; for 6 whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Moreover, when ye fast, be not as the hypocrites, of a sad Matt. countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6:16

it is God's throne:

Matt.

Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool; neither by Jerusa- 5:34, 35 lem; for it is the city of the great King.

13

Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst
not make one hair white or black.

Matt.

Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear
by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold

15

Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple
that sanctifieth the gold?

Matt. 23:16.

17

Matt.

And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty. 23:18

Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the
altar that sanctifieth the gift?

16

Matt. 23:19,

Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and
by all things thereon.

18

And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne
of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.

Matt. 23:22

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life. Doth this offend you? It is the spirit that quickeneth: the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life.
