20. Mechanical Requirements

The advertiser and/or agency shall designate the width in columns and exact depth in which case the newspaper agrees to publish and bill advertisement in exact space ordered, measurement to be from cut-off rule to cut-off rule. Where printing material furnished does not measure up to space ordered after shrinkage, the Post will space out the advertisement between cut-off rules to the exact amount of space ordered. Where ads are positioned at the bottom of the page, a dash or dot may be substituted for the cut-off rule to designate the true bottom of the type page.

a. Note: The following sizes are for type forms-this allows for the necessary shrinkage to actual published size.
