there are two women grinding at the mill, one shall be taken and the other left. The former was taken that the latter may stand. There are three glories spoken of:-the sun, moon,' and stars: those who are as the wandering stars seek darkness they heed neither Bible nor Church-their own ways are their guide. Some again, who are as the glory of the moon, come out from this darkness, and seek the salvation of their soul, and will return to heaven. Some again, who are as the glory of the sun, leave the glory of the moon-and seek a more perfect light; and that light which is now as morning light, shall increase, until it is equal to the light of the sun at mid-day. Though your deeds have been deeds of evil, forsake them-turn the other way and ye shall live. -Albeit life is hid among death, yet if ye strive on ye shall obtain, for God made a covenant of immortality with the spirits of the just long before that they were sent to be grafted to this planet. Your lives are hid with Christ in God.-Christ is the City of the living God-and three years shall they dwell in Christ, as Jesus did, and after that they shall be immortal. The lost tribes of the house of Israel are now turning their faces Zionward, as it is also written: "They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward.". They shall wander bestead and hungry, seeking to be cleansed,

then shall this passage of Scripture be fulfilled: "I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed-For the Lord dwelleth in Zion." "According to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began." The Jews had their soul saved by the law, and' offered up animals; but the Gentiles were called last, and Jesus came to fulfil that which was spoken: "A light to lighten the Gentiles," which had been promised to Jacob, He came to die and bear the sins of the whole universe.—The Scriptures are as something stolen, and hid, so that he thathas hid that which he has stolen knows where to find and. replace it where he had stolen it from.-So it is with man and Satan regarding the immortal life of the body, which was man's possession. The woman asked Jesus, that her sons might sit, one at His right hand, and the other at His left in

His kingdom;-(figure three of the Kingdom) but He said: "To sit at my right hand, and at my left, is not mine to give, but shall be given to those for whom it is prepared of my Father." It shall be given to those for whom it was originally prepared, ages before the foundations of this earth were laid-away back in the eternal counsel of the Deitywhen He devised and planned out that great mystery: “I in you, and you in me, that we all may be one," for it is not good that man should be alone-an helpmate must be provided for him. At the time Jesus spake those words, there were other two thousand years to roll on before that could take place; until the Kingdom was set up. At that time none of the spirits of the just-for whom these seats-these thrones and glories were prepared, had as yet been sent to this planet to be grafted to bodies. Did not Jesus say: "All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers "-and why? because they had not entered in by the "door" they had not come in through the two-leaved gate of Law and Gospel which Jesus who was the door had come to fulfil—as an example to the heirs of the Kingdom. Who has set before thee an open door, which no man can shut-who holdeth the Key of David-who openeth and no man shutteth-and shutteth, and no man openeth. But now these spirits who will enter this two-leaved gate have been sent and are this day dwelling on the planet from the child of a span long to the man of three score years.-The brilliancy and glory which God prepared for the spirits of the just before the foundation of the world hath not entered into the heart of man to conceive; but God has now, in this the third and last watch revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.-For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him?even so, the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God-and by comparing spiritual things with spiritual we obtain that great gift: spiritual discernment, and the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.-To one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom, to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit, to another, discerning of spirits-by which gift

we can discern the spirit of the just from the unjust-for we are to try the spirits;—we believe not every spirit, for there are many false prophets out in the world.--Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God."For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free, and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member but many."-The Apostle Paul could stand up in the days when he uttered this great truth and speak with truth and with a feeling of pride as he gazed from church to church: from Rome to Corinth-Ephesus to Philippi -Colosse to Thessalonica, Galatia, &c., &c. These churches were in every sense of the word-One-one in body-one in spirit but could the Apostle Paul stand this day on St. Paul's church in London, and behold the present dismemberment and schism of this present Apostasy falsely called Christendom and use the same words with truth ?-Would he not behold chaos, disunion, discord, light and darkness, Christ and Belial-the temple of God with idols-pictures, graven images of things above and below-stained windows keeping out the pure light of heaven-candles-worldly choirs-the unbeliever unequally yoked together with the believer-righteousness arm in arm with unrighteousness-money changers-business generally quarrelling-jangling and wrangling—deadly strife -enmity-hatred-one crying: I am of Apollos-I of Cephas —I of Paul-I of Christ-why! one could almost imagine the Apostle Paul looking down upon this confusion of tongues in utter amazement-placing his fingers in his ears, saying What Babel is this?-what?-this the Church of Christ ?— These the followers of the meek and the lowly Jesus of Nazareth?-Avaunt, it is a sacrilege-an abomination of abominations -it is the Beast with all its horns-the habitation of devils and the hold of every foul spirit—a cage of every unclean and hateful bird-" Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.-For her sins have reached unto heaven-the widows and fatherless are

crying out by reason of their oppression rendered homeless and cast out naked into the pitiless world--while all this display of religion is clothed in scarlet and faring sumptuously every day.-Behold! while I Paul was in the flesh, did I not forewarn you and is it not written in the scriptures that this great apostasy would overtake you in the last days and immediately precede the coming of Christ-and when He comes will He find faith on the earth ?-did I not tell you and my words yet on record that there should come a falling away first and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition-revealing and exalting himself as he did before the foundations of the earth were laid-and is now transformed into an angel of light-sitting-reigning supreme King of the temple of God, in the body of man-shewing himself that he is the God of the body that he owns the temple of God, the body of man -which God hath built, and for the salvation of which He said: "Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body, for the sin of my soul"?-and did send His firstborn to rescue the dead from the hands of Satan-the son of perdition-who gave the fruit of His body to rescue the living from among the dead-and now behold! Satan is transformed into an angel of light-exalting himself above all that is called God-sitting in the heart of man—for whom God's own dear Son bore stripes, afflictions, for whom He drank the cup of sorrows to the very dregs. He feeds upon the body in the grave and is still crying: Give! give! give! and is still unsatisfied. Remember ye not that when I was yet with you, I told you these things ?--I told you that the mystery of iniquity was working then until the whole lump would be leavened by its influence.-I told you that this great apostasy would continue to work-that Satan would persuade men that all must die,-whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming.-It is fast spreading its branches northward, southward, eastward and westward-grinding the faces of the poor,-pushing,-slaying with its horns by war -pestilence-famine and death. The cry of blood from the ground has reached to heaven and shall wax worse and worse.

These are the last days in which I told you that perilous times would come.-Wherefore, come out of her my people and be ye separate and touch not the unclean thing.-For not one stone shall be left standing here that shall not be thrown down. You are warned in Scripture, that many would come in the name of Christ and deceive many, if it were possible the very elect of God-elect and chosen before the foundation of the world. These are only the beginning of sorrows for iniquity shall abound. You were warned that the abomination of desolation would in the last days, stand in the holy place. That time has come-flee to the mountains O! my people for these days shall be shortened for thy sake. It is but a moment when ye shall say, "Hark the trump of God doth sound"-watch and pray, the time is at hand the minute of the hour has come. "And if He shall come in the second watch, or come in the 'third' watch and find them so, blessed are those servants."

"Known unto God are all His works from the beginning of the world "-and He said: "Occupy till I come."—Albeit that great tribulations are coming on this world speedily and many bodies have and will yet be given to Satan for the destruction of the flesh that their spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. This one great truth still stands prominent: the souls of all will be saved-some at the first resurrection, and all the remainder at the second or final resurrection. Those who knew the will of God and did it not are as the chaff, which the winds carry forth.-Those who see the light of Jesus, the bright and morning star, though it only glimmers upon them, and follow it not, shall be beaten with few stripes. But those who see the life of the body and seek it not, shall be beaten with many stripes.-Jesus being without sin, is the day-star which shall arise in the hearts of all who do His will and walk in His footsteps.--Man having evil within him is as the evening star. The spirit of man is called a star;-but being uncircumcised in heart, he is as the night; but those who are circumcised in heart, being righteous, are called an evening star, and if he be clothed with the Spirit, he is the bright and morning star-and has the day-star written in his
