Amen. CHAPTER V. DEVOTIONS IN HONOUR OF ST. JOSEPH. SECTION I. Faith and Devotions. FAITH, like God Himself, is immutable. "Jesus Christ, yesterday, and to-day, and the same for ever" (Heb. xiii. 8). From the beginning the Church received from her Divine Founder the full deposit of faith. The Church can neither abolish nor create a truth of faith. The articles of faith are divine truths revealed to man by God Himself and these truths the Church can neither change, add to, nor subtract from, or modify in any form. They are as immutable and true as God Himself.
