APRIL 25.-On Wednesday last the following gentlemen were elected Scholars of Trinity coll.-Calthrop, Sowerby, Luard, Walker, Hayward, Wolstenholme, Back, Bull, Hillyer, Scott, Berry, Barry, Davis, Westcott, Vaughan. The English declamation prizes have been awarded as follows:-Vansittart (1), Bloomfield (2), Macgregor (3). It has been determined immediately to constitute three additional Colonial Bishoprics. The first will be that of Victoria, in the island of Hong Kong. About £15,000 has already been collected towards the endowment, besides £5000 for a College. The other two sees will be in Australia. We understand that the late John Scott, Esq., of Old Broad-street, has bequeathed by About one-third of the above sums will be payable immediately; the remainder being bequeathed in reversion.
