us group together these three sources of instruction which our Lord gave to his disciples; let us take care that we have our loins girt, our lights burning, our lamps full of the oil of the indwelling Spirit-that we have our talents exercised, our graces cultivated, our gifts employed in the service of him who has loved us and who teaches his people to love him, and have our lives adorned with those fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God: may we indeed be enabled to do so: may we indeed be enabled to be so to the praise and glory of redeeming love.
