On dead stems of Smyrnium. Differing very little from P. dilutella. Gregarious, minute, sessile, concave, becoming plane or convex, glabrous, shining, soft, fleshy, whitish; asci clavate; sporidia subcylindrical or fusiform, hyaline, 6-10 x 2μ; paraphyses filiform, slender.
