If David then called him Lord, how is he is son? And no man was able to answer him a word; neither durst any man, from that day forth, ask him any more questions. FEBRUARY 21-22. MAL. iii. 5. I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me saith the Lord of Hosts. MATTHEW xxiii. 13-14-33. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Woe into you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrits for ye devour widows' ! houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers! how can ye escape the damnation of hell? FEBRUARY 23-24. PSALM cii. 26-27. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed. But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end. MATTHEW xxiv. 35. Heaven and earth shall pass away: words shall not pass away. but my H. FRY.
