culiar people, zealous of good works.

LII. 1 TIMOTHY 1. 15.-This is a faithful saying, and worthy

of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world

to save sinners.

LIII. 1 THESSALONIANS 1. 9. 10.-For they themselves show

of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and

how ye turned to God from idols, to serve the living and

true God; and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom

he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us

from the wrath to come.

LIV. PROVERBS XI. 10.-The fear of the Lord is the begin-

ning of wisdom; and the knowlege of the Holy is under-

standing.
