Foreword

This volume of selected administrative decisions under the immigration and nationality laws includes Interim Decision No. 938, rendered in July 1958, and Interim Decisions Nos. 1230 through 1417, rendered during the period March 1962 through November 1964.

The decisions are arranged in numerical sequence according to interim decision number. To facilitate conversion of sections of Title 8, United States Code, into sections of the law, there is a table reflecting the disposition in Title 8 of sections of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952. The "Notice" reflecting reported administrative decisions affected by subsequent reported administrative or judicial decisions has been extended to include the decisions in this volume. The cumulative index covers all 10 volumes.

The Service has made and will continue to make interim decisions available at its field offices where the public may examine them. Prior to publication in volume form, the current decisions are obtainable on a single copy basis or on a yearly subscription basis from the Superintendent of Documents, Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C., 20402.

RAYMOND F. FARRELL,

Commissioner of Immigration and Naturalization.
