NEW YORK, N. Y., November 16, 1890.

GENERAL: I have the honor to forward herewith certain documents to accompany the annual report of the Board to Congress for the year ending June 30, 1890. They consist of

(1) The consolidated annual report in tabular form.

(2) The proceedings of the Board of Managers during the year. (3) The reports of the governors of the several branches.

The papers referred to above contain all the information that can be furnished in regard to the management and condition of the Home. The proceedings of the Board of Managers at its various meetings exhibit in full everything that has been done by the Board in the performance of its duties.

The annual report is a consolidation of the annual reports of the sev eral branches.

The reports of the governors show in detail all that is important or desirable to know as to their respective branches.
