THE
FURNITURE MANUFACTURER

AND ARTISAN

TABLE OF CONTENTS

VOLUME SEVEN
JANUARY-JUNE, 1914

(Supplement to The Furniture Manufacturer and Artisan, July, 1914)

PUBLICITARY

INDEX TO VOLUME VII. 354253 A

[merged small][ocr errors][merged small][ocr errors]

Editor's NOTE:- Many difficulties attendant to the use of an index of complicated nature, it is believed have been

eliminated in the compilation of the Table of Contents for Volume Seven of the FURNITURE MANUFACTURER AND

ARTISAN. Every care has been exercised to compile an editorial reference as simple and devoid of confusion as pos-

sible without sacrificing that accuracy and completeness necessary to practical use. To this end, the subject matter

of Volume Seven has been alphabetically indexed by title only under twenty-one general heads, all of which will be

familiar to readers of the magazine. Contents rather than the published title of many articles have been selected

as the basis of classification. For instance, if an article published as an Editorial most intimately refers to the

general subject of Factory Management, it will be located under the latter classification. In like manner, when the

title fails to express the leading idea of any article, a new subject-title, more pertinently characteristic, has been

classified, which in every case is followed by the published title enclosed by quotation marks. Authors' names and

department of publication are included in every instance not indicated by the general index head. All important

illustrations have been indexed under the general classification, “Illustrations."

The page folios of the several issues are as follows: January, 1 to 56; February, 57 to 110; March, 111 to 162;

April, 163 to 211; May, 212 to 272; June, 273 to 334.
