Foreword

The Immigration and Naturalization Service presents the fifth volume of selected administrative decisions under the immigration and nationality laws, covering the period from February 1952 to June 1954, with the exception of a single decision rendered in December 1946.

These decisions have already been made available to the public as "Interim Decisions." The Service will continue to make its decisions and those of the Board of Immigration Appeals available at its principal field offices where the public may examine them in advance of publication in bound volume form.

Volume V also includes the various tables which were contained in preceding volumes and, in addition, provides a cumulative index to decisions appearing in all volumes.
