Und über das alles ist heute der dritte Tag, daß solches geschehen ist. 22 Auch haben uns erschreckt etliche Weiber der Unsern, die sind frühe bch dem Grabe gewesen, 23 Haben seinen Leib nicht gefunden, kommen und sagen, sie haben ein Gesichte der Engel gesehen, welche sagen, er lebe. 24 Und etliche unter uns gingen hin zum Grabe, und fanden es also, wie die Weiber sagten; aber ihn fanden sie nicht. 25 Und er sprach zu ihnen: O ihr Thoren, und trägen Herzens, zu glauben allem dem, das die Propheten geredet haben! 26 Mußte nicht Christus solches leiden, und zu seiner Herrlichkeit eingehen? 27 Und fing an von Mose und allen Propheten, und legte ihnen alle Echriften aus, die von ihm gesagt waren. 18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering, said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days? 19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God, and all the people: 20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him. 21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and besides all this, today is the third day since these things were done. 22 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre. 23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive. 24 And certain of them which were with us, went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not. 25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at Moses, and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. 28 Und sie kamen nahe zum Flecken, da sie hingingen; und er stellete sich, als wollte er weiter gehen. 29 Und sie nöthigten ihn, und sprachen: Bleibe beh uns, denn es will Abend werden, und der Tag hat sich geneiget. Und er berschwand vor ihnen. 32 Und sie sprachen unter einander : Brannte nicht unser Herz in uns, da er mit uns redete auf dem Wege, als er uns die Schrift öffnete ? 28 And they drew nigh unto the village whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further. 29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. Und warum kommen solche Gedanken in eure Her zen? 39 Sehet meine Hände, und meine Füße, ich bin es selber; fühlet mich, und sehet! Denn ein Geist hat nicht Fleisch und Bein, wie ihr sehet, daß ich habe. 40 Und da er das fagte, zeigte er ihnen Hände und Füße. 35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread. 36 ¶ And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. 38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. 40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. 41 Da sie aber noch nicht glaubten 41 And while they yet believed unto them, Have ye here any meat? vor Freuden, und sich verwunderten, not for joy, and wondered, he said sprach er zu ihnen: Habt ihr hier etwas zu essen? 42 Und sie legten ihm vor ein Stück von gebratenem Fische, und Honigseim. 43 Und er nahm es, und aß vor ihnen. 44 Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Das sind die Neden, die ich zu euch sagte, da ich noch beh euch war; denn es muß alles erfüllet werden, was von mir geschrieben ist im Gesetze Mosis, in den Propheten, und in den Psalmen. 45 Da öffnete er ihnen das Verständniß, daß sie die Schrift verstanden. 46 Und sprach zu ihnen: Also ist es geschrieben, und also mußte Christus leiden, und auferstehen von den Todten am dritten Tage. 47 Und predigen lassen in sei= nem Namen Buße und Vergebung der Sünden unter allen Völkern, und anheben zu Jerusalem. 48 Ihr aber sehd deß alles Zeugen. 49 Und siehe, ich will auf euch senden die Verheißung meines Vaters. Ihr aber sollt in der Stadt Jerusalem bleiben, bis daß ihr angethan werdet mit Kraft aus der Höhe.. 50 Er führete sie aber hinaus bis gen Bethanien; und hob die Hände auf, und segnete sie. 51 Und es geschah, da er sie segnete, schied er von ihnen, und fuhr auf gen Himmel. 52 Sie aber beteten ihn an, und kehrten wieder gen Jerusalem mit großer Freude; 53 Und waren allewege im Tempel, priesen und lobten Gott. 42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honey. comb. 43 And he took it, and did eat before them. 44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, 46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: 47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And ye are witnesses of these things. 49 T And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. 50 ¶ And he led them out as far as to Bethany and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. 51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven. 52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy: 53 And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. N the beginning was the Word, m Anfang war das Wort, und bas and the Word was with God, Jm Wort war beh Gott, und Gott war das Wort. 2 Dasselbige war im Anfang beh Gott. 3 Alle Dinge sind durch dasselbige gemacht, und ohne dasselbige ist nichts gemacht, was gemacht ist. 4 In ihm war das Leben, und das Leben war das Licht der Menschen. 5 Und das Licht scheinet in der Finfterniß, und die Finsterniß haben es nicht begriffen. 6 Es ward ein Mensch von Gott gesandt, der hieß Johannes. 7 Derselbige fam zum Zeugniß, daß er von dem Lichte zeugete, auf daß sie alle durch ihn glaubten. 8 Er war nicht das Licht, sondern daß er zeugete von dem Lichte. 9 Das war das wahrhaftige Licht, welches alle Menschen erleuchtet, die in diese Welt kommen. 10 Es war in der Welt, und die Welt ist darch dasselbige gemacht; und die Welt kannte es nicht. 11 Er kam in fein Eigenthum, und die Seinen nahmen ihn nicht auf. 12 Wie viele ihn aber aufnahmen, denen gab er Macht, Got tes Kinder zu werden, die an seinen Namen glauben. 13 Welche nicht von dem Geblüte, noch von dem Willen des Fleisches, noch von dem Willen eines Mannes; sondern von Gott geboren sind. 14.
