LESSON. Ecclus. xliv. 17. xlv. 3. Behold a great priest, who in his time pleased God, and was found just; and in the time of wrath was made a reconciliation. He gave him the blessing of all nations, and confirmed his covenant on his head. He acknowledged him in his blessings: he stored up his mercy for him; and he found favour in the eyes of the Lord.
