The subcommittee convened, pursuant to notice, at 10:05 a.m., in room 2261 Rayburn House Office Building, Hon. Ike Andrews (chairman of the subcommittee) presiding.

Members present: Representatives Andrews and Corrada.

Mr. ANDREWS. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.

The Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity has legislative and oversight jurisdiction over titles I, III, IV, and V of the Domestic Volunteer Service Act of 1973. Last week I introduced H.R. 11212 to extend these titles for two years and to make several amendments to the programs and their administration.
