To whom then will ye liken or what likeness will ye com nto him? yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble. 25 To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. 26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names, by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in pow er; not one faileth. 27 Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God? 28¶ Hast thou not known, hast thou not heard, that the everlastthe ends of the earth, fainteth not, ing God, the LORD, the Creator of neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. C. 574 13 Thus saith the Lord God: This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions. 14 And ye shall inherit it, one as well as another: concerning the which I lifted up mine hand to give it unto your fathers: and this land shall fall unto you for inheri tance. 15 And this shall be the border of the land toward the north side. from the great sea, the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad; 16 Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim. which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazar-hatticon, which is by the coast of Hauran. 17 And the border from the sea shall be Hazarenan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath And this is the north side. 18 And the east side ye shal! measure from Hauran, and from Damascus, and from Gilead, and from the land of Israel, by Jordan, from the border unto the east sea. And this is the east side. |
