AFFIRMATION Any person who has conscientious scruples as to taking an oath may be allowed to make affirmation. Substitute for the words "Solemnly Swear" at the beginning of the oath the following: "Affirm"; Substitute for the words "So Help You God" at the end of the oath the following: "This you do Affirm under the pains and penalties of perjury." |
