3 Once with Adam's race in ruin,
Unconcerned in sin I lay;
Swift destruction still pursuing,
Till my Saviour passed that way

4 Witness, all ye hosts of heaven.
My Redeemer's tenderness;
Love I much? I'm much forgiven;
I'm a miracle of grace.

5 Shout, ye bright angelic choir!
Praise the Lamb enthron'd above;
Whilst, astonished, I admire

God's free grace and boundless love.

6 That bless'd moment I received him
Filled my soul with joy and peace:
Love I much? I'm much forgiven;
I'm a miracle of grace.

61

Lovest thou me?-JOHN 21. 16.

HARK, my soul, it is the Lord;

'Tis thy Saviour, hear his word; Jesus speaks, and speaks to thee: Say, poor sinner, lov'st thou me?

7s

2 I delivered thee when bound,
And when wounded healed thy wound.
Sought thee wandering, set thee right
Turned thy darkness into light.
3 Mine is an unchanging love,
Higher than the heights above;
Deeper than the depths beneath,
Free and faithful, strong as death

62

4 Thou shalt see my glory soon,
When the work of grace is done;
Partner of my throne shalt be;
Say, poor sinner, lov'st thou me?
5 Lord, it is my chief complaint
That my love is weak and faint;
Yet I love thee and adore;

O for grace to love thee more!

8, 7.

And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.-REV. 7. 10.

HA

ARK, ten thousand harps and voices
Sound the note of praise above;

Jesus reigns, and heaven rejoices:
Jesus reigns, the God of love.
See! he sits on yonder throne!
Jesus rules the world alone!

2 Jesus, hail! whose glory brightens
All above and gives it worth;
Lord of love, thy smile enlightens,

Cheers and charms thy saints on earth; When we think of love like thine,

Lord, we own it love divine.

3 King of glory, reign forever,

Thine an everlasting crown;

Nothing from thy love shall sever

Those whom thou hast made thine own

Happy objects of thy grace,

Chosen to behold thy face.

Saviour, hasten thine appearing; Bring, O bring the glorious day! When, the awful summons hearing, Heaven and earth shall pass away! Then with golden harps we'll sing, Glory, glory, to our King.

7s, D.

The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord.-REV. 11. 15.

HARK! the song of jubilee,

Loud as mighty thunders roar, Or the fulness of the sea,

When it breaks upon the shore! Hallelujah! for the Lord

God omnipotent shall reign!
Hallelujah! let the word

Echo round the earth and maiu.
2 Hallelujah! hark, the sound,
From the depths unto the skies,
Wakes above, beneath, around,
All creation's harmonies!
See Jehovah's banner furled,

Sheathed his sword, he speaks-'tis done And the kingdoms of this world

Are the kingdoms of his Son!

3 He shall reign from pole to pole
With illimitable sway;

He shall reign, when like a scroll
Yonder heavens are passed away.
Then the end: beneath his rod
Man's last enemy shall fall:
Hallelujah! Christ in God,
God in Christ is all in all!

8.7.

The harvest truly is plenteous.-MATT. 9. 87.

HA

ARK! the voice of Jesus calling,-. Who will go and work to-day? Fields are white, the harvest waiting, Who will bear the sheaves away? Loud and long the Master calleth, Rich reward he offers free; Who will answer, gladly saying, Here am I, O Lord, send me. 2 If you cannot cross the ocean

And the heathen lands explore, You can find the heathen nearer,

You can help them at your door. If you cannot speak like angels,

If you cannot preach like Paul,
You can tell the love of Jesus,
You can say he died for all.

3 While the souls of men are dying,
And the Master calls for you,
Let none hear you idly saying,
There is nothing I can do!
Gladly take the task he gives you,
Let his work your pleasure be;
Answer quickly when he calleth,
Here am I, O Lord, send me.

HAR

It is finished.-JOHN 19.80.

8, 7, 4.

ARK! the voice of love and mercy
Sounds aloud from Calvary;

See, it rends the rocks asunder, Shakes the earth, and veils the sky! "It is finished!"

Hear the dying Saviour cry.

2 "It is finished!"-O what pleasure
Do these precious words afford!
Heavenly blessings without measure
Flow to us from Christ the Lord;
"It is finished! 17

Saints, the dying words record. 3 Finished-all the types and shadows Of the ceremonial law;

Finished-all that God had promised; Death and hell no more shall awe; "It is finished!"

Saints, from hence your comforts draw 4 Tune your harps anew, ye seraphs, Join to sing the pleasing theme; All on earth and all in heaven Join to praise Immanuel's name; Hallelujah!

Glory to the bleeding Lamb.
