3 To-day the Saviour calls!
O, listen now!

Within these sacred walls
To Jesus bow.

4 The Spirit calls to-day!
Yield to his power.

O, grieve him not away!
'Tis mercy's hour.

Jesus Christ, and him crucified.-1 Cor. 2, 2

AIN, delusive world, adieu,

Only Jesus I pursue,

Who bought me with his blood. All thy pleasures I forego,

All thy wealth, and all thy pride; Only Jesus will I know,

And Jesus crucified.

2 Him to know is life and peace, And pleasure without end,

This is all my happiness,

On Jesus to depend:

Daily in his

grace to grow,

And ever in his love abide; Only Jesus will I know,

And Jesus crucified.

30 that I could all invite,

This saving truth to prove;

Show the length, the breadth, the height, And depth of Jesus' love.

Fain. I would to sinners show

His blood by faith alone applied; Only Jesus will I know,

And Jesus crucified.

As thy days, so shall thy strength be.

WA

DEUT. 33. 25.

AIT, my soul, upon the Lord;
To his gracious promise flee;
Laying hold upon this word,-
As thy days, thy strength shall be.
2 If the sorrows of thy case
Seems peculiar still to thee,
God has promised needful grace,-
As thy days, thy strength shall be.

3 Days of trial, days of grief,
In succession thou may'st see;
This is still my sweet relief,-
As thy days, thy strength shall be.

4 Rock of ages, I'm secure,
With thy promise, full and free,
Faithful, positive, and sure;-

As thy days, thy strength shall be

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord.-EPH. 5. 8.

WALK in the light! so shalt thou know

That fellowship of love,

His Spirit only can bestow
Who reigns in light above.

2 Walk in the light! and thou shalt find Thy heart made truly his,

Who dwells in cloudless light enshrined;
In whom no darkness is.

3 Walk in the light! and e'en the tomb
No fearful shade shall wear;
Glory shall chase away its gloom,
For Christ hath conquer'd there.

4 Walk in the light! and thou shalt sce
Thy path, though thorny, bright;
For God by grace shall dwell in thee,
And God himself is light.

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our

sorrows.-ISA. 53. 4.

EARY sinner! keep thine eyes
On th' atoning Sacrifice:

View him bleeding on the tree,
Pouring out his life for thee.

2 Surely Christ thy griefs hath borne;
Weeping soul, no longer mourn;
Now by faith the Son embrace,
Plead his promise, trust his grace.
3 Cast thy guilty soul on him;
Find him mighty to redeem:
At his feet thy burden lay;
Look thy doubts and care away.

4 Lord, come thou with power to heal;
Now thy mighty arm reveal:

At thy feet myself I lay;

Take, O take my sins away!

A delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable.
ISA. 58. 18.

WELCOME, sweet day of rest,

That saw the Lord arise, Welcome to this reviving breast, And these rejoicing eyes!

2 The King himself comes near,
And feasts his saints to-day;
Here we may sit, and see him here,
And love, and praise, and pray.

3 One day amidst the place

Where my dear God hath been, Is sweeter than ten thousand days Of pleasurable sin.

4 My willing soul would stay
In such a frame as this,
And sit and sing herself away
To everlasting bliss.

8, 7, 4.

My son, give me thine heart.-PROV. 23. 26.

WELCOME, welcome, dear Redeemer!

Welcome to this heart of mine;

Lord! I make a full surrender;

Every power and thought be thine;
Thine entirely,—

Through eternal ages thine.

2 Known to all to be thy mansion,
Earth and hell will disappear;
Or in vain attempt possession

When they find the Lord is near:-
Shout, O Zion!

Shout, ye saints! the Lord is here.

To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever.

WE

REV. 1. 6.

E praise thee, O God! for the Son of thy love,

For Jesus who died, and is now gone above.

CHORUS:

Hallelujah! thine the glory, Hallelujah!
Amen.

Hallelujah! thine the glory, revive us
again.

2 We praise thee, O God! for thy Spirit of light,

Who has shown us our Saviour, and scattered our night.

3 All glory and praise to the Lamb that was

slain,

Who has borne all our sins, and has cleansed every stain.

4 All glory and praise to the God of all grace, Who has bought us, and sought us, and guided our ways.

5 Revive us again; fill each heart with thy love;

May each soul be rekindled with fire from above.
