ISAIAH lx. 1. Arise, shine, O Zion: for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

PSALM XCIV. 2. Arise, thou Judge of the world: and reward the proud after their deserving.

3. Lord, how long shall the ungodly: how long shall the ungodly triumph?

7. And yet they say, The Lord shall not see: neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

8. Take heed, ye unwise among the people: O ye fools, when will ye understand?

9. He that planted the ear, shall he not hear: or he that made the eye, shall he not see?

10. Or he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he punish? 11. The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man: that they are but vain.

XCV. 6. O come, let us worship and fall down: and kneel

before the Lord our Maker.

cv. 7. For he is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the world.

ciii. 9. He will not alway be chiding: neither keepeth he his anger for ever.

cvii. 8. O that men would therefore praise the Lord for his goodness: and declare the wonders that he doeth for the children of men!

20.

PSALM XCVI. 7. Ascribe unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people ascribe unto the Lord worship and power.

8. Ascribe unto the Lord the honour due unto his name: bring presents, and come into his courts.

9. O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: let the whole earth stand in awe of him.

10. Tell it out among the heathen that the Lord is King: and that it is he who hath made the round world so fast that it cannot be moved; and how that he shall judge the people righteously.

11. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad: let the sea make a noise, and all that therein is.

12. Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice before the Lord.

13. For he cometh, he cometh to judge the earth: and with righteousness to judge the world, and the people with his truth. lvii. 9. Awake, thou lute and harp: I myself will awake right early. Hallelujah. Amen.

3. And his wonders unto all people.

5. As for the gods of the heathen, they are but idols.

cxv. 4. Their idols are silver and gold: even the work of men's hands.

5. They have mouths, and speak not: eyes have they, and

see not.

6. They have ears, and hear not: noses have they, and smell not. 7. They have hands, and handle not; feet have they, and walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

8. They that make them are like unto them: and so are all such as put their trust in them.

3. As for our God, he is in heaven: he hath done whatsoever pleased him.

12. The Lord hath been mindful of us, and he shall bless us : he shall bless the house of Israel, he shall bless the house of Aaron.

13. He shall bless them that fear the Lord: both small and great.

15. Ye are the blessed of the Lord: who made heaven and earth.

PSALM xlii. 1. As pants the hart for cooling streams, so longs my soul for thee, O God.

3. Tears are my daily food, while thus they say, Where is now thy God?

4. Now, when I think thereupon, I pour out my heart by myself: for I went with the multitude, and brought them forth into the house of God.

5. In the voice of praise and thanksgiving: among such as keep holy day.

6. Why art thou so full of grief, O my soul: and why art thou so disquieted within me?

7. Put thy trust in God: for I will praise him.

23.

PSALM xlii. As pants the hart for cooling streams
When heated in the chase,

So longs my soul, O God, for thee,
And thy refreshing grace.

To thee, my God-the living God-
My thirsty soul doth pine;

Oh! when shall I behold thy face,
Thou Majesty divine.

24.

PSALM xlii. 1. As the hart desireth the water-brooks: so longeth my soul after thee, O God.

6. Why art thou so full of heaviness, O my soul: and why art thou so disquieted within me?

15. O put thy trust in God: for I will yet thank him, which is the help of my countenance, and my God.

25.

PSALM xlii. 1. As the hart panteth after the water-brooks: so my soul longeth after thee, O God.

PSALM xlii. 1. As the hart pants after the waterbrooks, so panteth my soul for thee, O God.

2. For my soul thirsteth for God, yea, even for the living God: when shall I come to appear before the presence of God, before God's presence?

3. My tears have been my meat day and night: while they daily say unto me, Where is now thy God?

4. For I had gone forth most gladly with the people, and to lead them forth to Jehovah's temple.

5. In the voice of praise and gladness: like as a people keeping holiday.

6. Why, my soul art thou so vexed: and why art thou cast down in me?

7. Trust thou in God: for I will yet give him great thanks for the help of his good countenance.

8. My God, within me is my soul cast down: therefore will I remember thee at the mighty noise of the waters.

9. Deep calleth unto deep, at the noise of the water-spouts : all thy waves and all thy billows are gone over me.

10. The Lord hath commanded his kindness in the day-time : in the night did I sing of him, and made my prayer to the God of my life.

11. My God, within me is my soul cast down, why hast thou thy servant forgotten: why go I on thus heavily, while my foe prevails?

14. Why, my soul art thou so vexed: and why art thou cast down in me.

15. Trust thou in God: for I will yet give him great thanks for the help of his good countenance.

xli. 13. Praised be the Lord, the God of Israel, from henceforth and for evermore.

27.

ISAIAH lii. 1. Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, thou holy city. 2. Shake thyself from the dust, O Jerusalem; loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

7. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth glad tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth.

9. Break forth into joy, Hallelujah! sing together ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.

10. The Lord hath made bare his holy arm in the sight of all nations, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. Hallelujah!
