4. I said, Lord, be merciful with me: heal my soul, for I have sinned against thee.

5. All mine enemies speak evil of me: When shall he die, and his name perish?

9. Yea, even mine own familiar friend; hath laid great wait for me.

10. But be thou merciful unto me, O Lord: raise thou me up again, and I shall reward them.

11. By this I know that thou favourest me: that mine enemy doth not triumph against me.

12. And when I am in health, thou upholdest me: and shalt set me before thy face for ever.

4. For thy hand is heavy upon me day and night: and my moisture is like the drought in summer.

5. I will acknowledge my sin unto thee: and mine unrighteousness have I not hid.

6. I said, I will confess my sins unto the Lord: and so thou forgavest the wickedness of my sin.

7. For this shall every one that is godly make his prayer unto thee, in a time when thou mayest be found :

8. Thou art a place to hide me in, thou shalt preserve me from trouble: thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. 11. Great plagues remain for the ungodly: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord, mercy embraceth him on every side.

12. Be glad, O ye righteous, and rejoice in the Lord: and be joyful all ye that are true of heart. Hallelujah. Amen.

PSALM CXii. 1 Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord: he hath great delight in his commandments.

2. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the faithful shall be blessed.

3. Riches and plenteousness shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4. Unto the godly there ariseth up light in the darkness: he is merciful, loving, and righteous.

5. A good man is merciful, and lendeth: and will guide his words with discretion.

6. He shall never be moved: the righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.

7. He will not be afraid of any evil tidings: for his heart standeth fast, and believeth in the Lord.

9. He hath dispersed abroad, and given to the poor and his righteousness remaineth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

cxi. 10. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do thereafter; the praise of it endureth for ever.

cvi. 46. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, from everlasting. x. 16. The poor committeth himself to thee, O Lord; for thou art the helper of the friendless.

3. And he shall be like a tree planted by the water side: that will bring forth his fruit in due season.

4. His leaf also shall not wither: and look, whatsoever he doeth, it shall

prosper.

5. As for the ungodly, it is not so with them: but they are like the chaff which the wind scattereth away from the face of the earth.

6. Therefore the ungodly shall not be able to stand in the judgment: neither the sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

7. But the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: and the way of the ungodly shall perish.

cxix. 142. For thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness and thy law is the truth.

PSALM 1xxxix. 16. Blessed is the people, O Lord, that can rejoice in thee: they shall walk in the light of thy countenance. 17. Their delight shall be daily in thy Name: and in thy righteousness shall they make their boast.

18. For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy loving-kindness thou shalt lift up our horns.

19. For the Lord is our defence: the holy One of Israel is our King. Hallelujah.

PSALM lxxxix. 15. Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance. 16. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

REVELATION Vii. 12. Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever.
