4. I will praise God, because of his word: I have put my trust in God, and will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

5. They daily mistake my words: all that they imagine is to do me evil.

6. They hold all together, and keep themselves close and mark my steps, when they lay wait for my soul.

7. Shall they escape for their wickedness? Thou, O God, in thy displeasure shalt cast them down.

10. In God's word will I rejoice: in the Lord's word will I comfort me.

11. Yea, in God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. Hallelujah. Amen.

23. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God.

24. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

25. But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.

PSALM 1xxii. 18. Blessed be the Lord God, even the God of Israel which only doeth wondrous things.

11. All kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall do him service.

12. For he shall deliver the poor when he crieth: the needy also, and him that hath no helper.

17. His Name shall endure for ever; his Name shall remain under the sun among the posterities: which shall be blessed through him; and all the heathen shall praise him.

19. And blessed be the Name of his Majesty for ever: and all the earth shall be filled with his Majesty. Amen. Amen.

LUKE i. 68. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people.

Therefore we will rejoice before God, we will rejoice in the God of our salvation.

LUKE ii. 10. Glad tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11. For unto you is born this day a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

14. Glory to God in the highest, peace on earth, goodwill toward men.

PSALM XXviii. 6. Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

7. The Lord is my strength and my shield; therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. 8. The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

9. Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

6. Blessed be the Lord for evermore.

PSALM cxliv. 1. Blessed be the Lord my strength: who teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight;

2. My hope and my fortress, my castle and deliverer, my defender in whom I trust: who subdueth my people that is under me.

3. Lord, what is man, that thou hast such respect unto him: or the son of man, that thou so regardest him?

4. Man is like a thing of nought: his time passeth away like a shadow.

5. Bow thy heavens, O Lord, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.

6. Cast forth thy lightnings, and tear them: shoot out thine arrows, and consume them.

7. Send down thine hand from above, and deliver me: save me from the hands of strange children.

8. Whose mouth talketh of vanity: and their right hand is a right hand of wickedness, and of iniquity.
