નાહારો વહાલો દીકરો છે હને લીધે હું બહુ પરશન ઊ હે તમે શાંભલા

6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

દ્ ને શીશા [એ] શાંભલીને ઊંધા પડીગ ને ઘણા બીધા 7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

૭ તાહારે ઇએ પાશે આવીને તેને અડકીને કહું કે ઊઠો ન બીડ્ડા ના

8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

૮ તાહારે તેઓએ પેાતાની આંખા ઊંચી કરીને એકલા ઈશ્યુ વના કોઈને દીઠો નહીં

9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged then, saying, Teli the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

૯ પછી તેઓ પાહાડ પરથી ઊતરતા હતા તાહાર ઈશુએ તેઓને અગતે હુકમ આપતાં કહું કે નાંણથના દીકરો નવી ગએલાઓમાંથી પાછા ઊઠે તાંહાંસુધી આ જે તમે દીઠું તે કોઈ ને ન કાહા

10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?

૧૦ તાારે તેણેના શીશાએ તેણેને પુછતાં કહું તે। શાથતી આ કેન કહેછે કે એલીનને પહેલાં આવવું પડેછે

11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

૧૧ પછી ઇશ્યુએ જવાબ દેતાં તેઓને કહું કે એલીન પહેલો આવો ખરો ને શયાં ઠીક કરશે

12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of thein.

૧૦ પણુ હું તમને કહુંઊં કે એલીન આએવાજ છે ને તેઓ એ તેહેને ન આલખા પણ જે કંઈ તેમાએ ચાહું તે તેણેને કીધું તેમજ માંણુશનો દીકરો પણ તેઓથી [દુખ] શેહેશે

13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

૧૩ તાહારે શીશા શમન કે ઈહાન બાપતીશન કરનાર શસઁધી તે તેઓને કહેતા હુતો

14 | And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

૧૪ ને તે ભીડની પાશે આએવા પર એક માણશે વહુની પાશે આવીને તેણેની આગલ ઘૂંટણીએ બેશીને કહું

1ă Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatic, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

૧૫ કે એ પરભુ માહારા દીકરા પર આ કર કાંજે તે વાલો છે ને ઘણી પીડા શેહેછે કેમકે તે વારેવારે અગનીમાં ને વારે વારે પાણીનાં પડેછે

16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.

૧૬ ને તેડ઼ેને હું તાહારા શીશાની પાશે લાએવા હુતો પણ તેઓ તહેને શનો કરી ન શકા

17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you! bring him hither to me.

૧૭ તાહારે ઈશુએ જવાબ દેતાં કહ્યું કે આ અવીશવાશી તથા ભારગી પડી કૉંહાઁસુધી હું તમારી શાથે રહીશ કાઁહૉંક્ષુધી હું ત મારૂં શીશ તેહેને નાહારી પાશે હી લાવા

18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

૧૮ પછી ઈશુએ [ભુતને] ધમકાઍવું ને જીત તેણેાંથી નીક ને બાલક તેજ ઘડીથી શમા થ

19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

૧૯ તાહારે શીશાએ એકાંત ઇશ્યુ પાશે આવીને કહું કે હું તે હુને કેમ કાણાડી ન શકા

20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

૨૦ તે પર ઈશુએ તેને કહું કે તમારા અવીશવાશને લીધે કેમકે હું તમને થાચું કહુંઊં કે ને તમને રાઈના દાણા જેટલા વીશવાશ હાએ તો તને આ પાહાડને કાડ઼ા કેતુ હીઔંથી તાંહાં ખશેડા એટલે તે ખશેડાશે ને તને કંઈ કરવાને અશકત ની [થો] 21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

૨૧ પશુ પરારથના તથા અપવાશ વગર એ નત નીકલતી નથી 22 [ And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:

૨૨ ને તેઓ ગાલલીનાં તા હુતા તાહારે ઈશુએ તેઓને કહું કે માઁણુશનો દીકરા નાંશોના હાથમાં શેખાશે * 23 And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.

૨૩ પછી તેઓ તેહુને નારીનાંખશે ને તીજે દાહાડે તે પાછી ઊઠશે તાહારે તેઓ બહુ દલગીર થ

24 | And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?

૨૪ ને તેઓ કાપેરનાહનમાં આગેવા પર કર લેનારાઓમ

મીતરની પાશે આવીને કહું કે શું તમારો શુરૂ કર નથી આપતો

25 He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute' of their own children, or of strangers!

૨૫ તેણે કહ્યું કે હા ને ઘરમાં તે આએવો તાહારે ઇએ તેણે ની અગાઊ બોલીને કહું કે ઓ શીનોન તને શું લાગે૨ે પરથી ના રાા કોથી દાંણુ અથવા કર લધે પોતાનાં ઇ પાસેથી અથવા પારકાંથી

26 Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.

કે

૨૬ પીતરે તેહેને કહું કે પારકાંથી ઇક્ષુએ તેહેને કહું તાહારે છુઈ તા છૂટાંછે

27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

૨૭ તાપણુ આપણે તેઓને ઠાકર ન ખવડાવીએ માટે તુ દી આ પાશે જઈને ગલ નાંખ ને જે માછલું પહેલું ઊપર આવે છે તે પકડી લે નેતેહેનું નેહાડું ઊઘાડા પર તને રૂપી તે લઇને ભાહારને તાહારે શારૂ તેને આપ

CHAP. XVIII. હાડનો અધા

મલશે

1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

૧ તેજ વેલા શીશાએ ઇશુની પાસે આવીને કહું કે આકાશ

ના રાજનાં નેહોટું કાણુ છે

2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

ર તાહારે ઈશુએ એક બાલકને પાશે તીને તેન તેની વયે રાખું જ

3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

૩ ને કહું કે હું તમને શાચું કહુંઊં કે ને તને પ્રેરવાતા -નથી ને બાલકોના શરખા નથી થતા તા આકાશના રાજમાં તમે નહીંજ પેશયા

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. ૪ માટે જે કાઈ પોતાને આ બાલકના શખા લીન કરશે તેજ આકાશના રાજમાં મહોઢા છે

5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

પુને જે કાઇ નાહાર નાંને હેવા એક બાલકને અંગીકાર કરેછે તે મને અંગીકાર કરેલું

6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which 'believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the -depth of the sea.

← પણ જે નાહીંના હું પર વીશવાશ કરેછે તેમાંના એકને જે કાઇ ઠાકર ખવડાવશે તેહુને એ શારૂ છે કે ઘંટીનું પડ તેહેની કોટ બધાએ ને તેને દીઓના ઊંડાંમાં ડુબાડાએ *

7 | Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

૭ ઠોકરોને લીધે જગતને હાએહાએ [છે] કેમકે ઠોકરો આવ નાની અગત છે પણ જે માંણુશથી ઠોકર આવેછે તેહેન હુાએ હાએ [છે] **

8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
