fab hyn eistedd, y naill ar dy law | sit, the one on thy right hand, and ddehau, a'r llall ar dy law aswy, the other on the left, in thy kingyn dy frenhiniaeth.

22 A'r Iesu a attebodd ac a ddywedodd, Ni wyddoch chwi beth yr ydych yn ei ofyn. A ellwch chwi yfed o'r cwppan yr ydwyf fi ar yfed o hono, a'ch bedyddio â'r bedydd y bedyddir fi? Dywedasant wrtho, Gallwn.

23 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Diau yr yfwch o'm cwppan, ac y'ch bedyddir â'r bedydd y'm bedyddir âg ef: eithr eistedd ar fy llaw ddehau ac ar fy llaw aswy, nid eiddof ei roddi ; ond i'r sawl y darparwyd gan fy Nhad.

24 A phan glybu y deg hyn, hwy a sorrasant wrth y ddau frodyr.

25 A'r Iesu a'u galwodd hwynt atto, ac a ddywedodd, Chwi a wyddoch fod pennaethiaid y Cenhedloedd yn tra-arglwyddiaethu arnynt, a'r rhai mawrion yn traawdurdodi arnynt hwy.

26 Eithr nid felly y bydd yn eich plith chwi: ond pwy bynnag a fynno fod yn fawr yn eich plith | chwi, bydded yn weinidog i chwi; 27 A phwy bynnag a fynno fod yn bennaf yn eich plith, bydded yn was i chwi :.

28 Megis na ddaeth Mab y dyn i'w wasanaethu, ond i wasanaethu, ac i roddi ei einioes yn bridwerth dros lawer.

29 Ac a hwy yn myned allan o Jericho, tyrfa fawr a'i canlynodd ef.

30 Ac wele, dau ddeillion yn eistedd ar fin y ffordd, pan glywsant fod yr Iesu yn myned heibio, a lefasant, gan ddywedyd, Arglwydd, fab Dafydd, trugarhâ wrthym.

31 A'r dyrfa a'u ceryddodd hwynt, fel y tawent: hwythau a lefasant fwy-fwy, gan ddywedyd, Arglwydd, fab Dafydd, trugarhâ wrthym.

22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are

able.

23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.

25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your serv

ant:

28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him:

30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, 0 Lord, thou Son of David.

31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.

32 A'r Iesu a safodd, ac a'u galwodd hwynt, ac a ddywedodd, Pa beth a ewyllysiwch ei wneuthur o honof i chwi?

33 Dywedasant wrtho, Arglwydd, agoryd ein llygaid ni.

34 A'r Iesu a dosturiodd wrthynt, ac a gyffyrddodd â'u llygaid: ac yn ebrwydd y cafodd eu llygaid olwg, a hwy a'i canlynasant ef.

PENNOD XXI.

32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?

33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.

34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

CHAPTER XXI.

A PHAN ddaethant yn gyfagos AND when they drew nigh unto

i Jerusalem, a'u dyfod hwy i Bethphage, i fynydd yr Olewwydd, yna yr anfonodd yr Iesu ddau ddisgybl,

2 Gan ddywedyd wrthynt, Ewch i'r pentref sydd ar eich cyfer, ac yn y man chwi a gewch asen yn rhwym, ac ebol gyd â hi: gollyngwch hwynt, a dygwch attaf fi.

3 Ae os dywed neb ddim wrthych, dywedwch, Y mae yn rhaid i'r Arglwydd wrthynt: ac yn y man efe a'u denfyn hwynt.

4 A hyn oll a wnaethpwyd, fel y cyflawnid yr hyn a ddywedasid trwy y prophwyd, yn dywedyd,

5 Dywedwch i ferch Sion, Wele, dy frenhin yn dyfod i ti yn addfwyn, ac yn eistedd ar asen, ac ebol llwdn asen arferol â'r iau. 6 Y disgyblion a aethant ac a wnaethant fel y gorchymynasai yr Iesu iddynt.

7 A hwy a ddygasant yr asen a'r ebol, ac a ddodasant eu dillad arnynt, ac a'i gosodasant ef i eistedd ar hynny.

8 A thyrfa ddirfawr a daenasant eu dillad ar y ffordd; eraill a dorrasant gangau o'r gwŷdd, ac a'u taenasant ar hyd y ffordd.

9 A'r torfeydd, y rhai oedd yn myned o'r blaen, a'r rhai oedd yn dyfod ar ol, a lefasant, gan ddywedyd, Hosanna i fab Dafydd: Bendigedig yw yr hwn sydd yn dyfod yn enw yr Arglwydd: Hosanna yn y goruchafion.

Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

3 And if any man say aught unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he I will send them.

4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

5 Tell ye the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.

8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strewed them in the way.

9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

10 Ac wedi ei ddyfod ef i mewn | 10 And when he was come into i Jerusalem, y ddinas oll a gynhyrf- Jerusalem, all the city was moved, odd, gan ddywedyd, Pwy yw hwn? saying, Who is this? 11 A'r torfeydd a ddywedasant, Hwn yw Iesu y prophwyd o Nazareth yn Galilea.

12 A'r Iesu a aeth i mewn i deml Dduw, ac a daflodd allan bawb a'r oedd yn gwerthu ac yn prynu yn y deml, ac a ddymchwelodd i lawr fyrddau y newidwyr arian, a chadeiriau y rhai oedd yn gwerthu colommenod:

13 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Ysgrifenwyd, Tŷ gweddi y gelwir fy nhŷ i; eithr chwi a'i gwnaethoch yn ogof lladron.

14 A daeth y deillion a'r cloffion atto yn y deml; ac efe a'u hiachâodd hwynt.

15 A phan welodd yr arch-offeiriaid a'r ysgrifenyddion y rhyfeddodau a wnaethai efe, a'r plant yn llefain yn y deml, ac yn dywedyd, Hosanna i fab Dafydd; hwy a lidiasant,

16 Ac a ddywedasant wrtho, A wyt ti yn clywed beth y mae y rhai hyn yn ei ddywedyd? A'r Iesu a ddywedodd wrthynt, Ydwyf. Oni ddarllenasoch chwi erioed, O enau plant bychain a rhai yn sugno y perffeithiaist foliant?

17 Ac efe a'u gadawodd hwynt, ac a aeth allan o'r ddinas i Bethania, ac a lettyodd yno.

18 T A'r bore, fel yr oedd efe yn dychwelyd i'r ddinas, yr oedd arno chwant bwyd.

19 A phan welodd efe ffigysbren ar y ffordd, efe a ddaeth atto, ac ni chafodd ddim arno, ond dail yn unig: ac efe a ddywedodd wrtho, Na thyfed ffrwyth arnat byth mwyach. Ac yn ebrwydd y crinodd y ffigysbren.

20 A phan welodd y disgyblion, hwy a ryfeddasant, gan ddywedyd, Mor ddisymmwth y crinodd y ffigysbren!

11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased,

16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

17 And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.

18 ¶ Now in the morning, as he returned into the city, he hungered.

19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

21 A'r Iesu a attebodd ac a ddy- 21 Jesus answered and said unto wedodd wrthynt, Yn wir meddaf | them, Verily I say unto you, If ye

i chwi, Os bydd gennych ffydd, ac | have faith, and doubt not, ye shall heb ammeu, ni wnewch yn unig not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

hyn a wnaethum i'r ffigysbren, eithr hefyd os dywedwch wrth y mynydd hwn, Coder di i fynu, a bwrier di i'r môr; hynny a fydd.

22 A pha beth bynnag a ofynoch mewn gweddi, gan gredu, chwi a'i derbyniwch.

23 Ac wedi ei ddyfod ef i'r deml, yr arch-offeiriaid a henuriaid y bobl a ddaethant atto fel yr oedd efe yn athrawiaethu, gan ddywed yd, Trwy ba awdurdod yr wyt ti yn gwneuthur y pethau hyn? a phwy a roddes i ti yr awdurdod hon?

22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

23 ¶ And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?

24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

24 A'r Iesu a attebodd ac a ddywedodd wrthynt, Minnau a ofynaf i chwithau un gair, yr hwn os mynegwch i mi, minnau a fynegaf i chwithau trwy ba awdurdod yr wyf yn gwneuthur y pethau hyn. 25 Bedydd Ioan, o ba le yr oedd ? 25 The baptism of John, whence ai o'r nef, ai o ddynion? A hwy was it? from heaven, or of men? a ymresymmasant yn eu plith eu And they reasoned with themhunain, gan ddywedyd, Os dy-selves, saying, If we shall say, wedwn, O'r nef; efe a ddywed From heaven; he will say unto wrthym, Paham gan hynny nas us, Why did ye not then believe credasoch ef? him?

26 Ond os dywedwn, O ddynion; y mae arnom ofn y bobl: canys y mae pawb yn cymmeryd Ioan megis prophwyd.

27 A hwy a attebasant i'r Iesu, ac a ddywedasant, Ni wyddom ni. Ac yntau a ddywedodd wrthynt, Nid wyf finnau yn dywedyd i chwi trwy ba awdurdod yr wyf yn gwneuthur y pethau hyn.

28 Ond beth dybygwch chwi ? Yr oedd gan wr ddau fab: ac efe a ddaeth at y cyntaf, ac a ddywedodd, Fy mab, dos, gweithia heddyw yn fy ngwinllan.

29 Ac yntau a attebodd ac a ddywedodd, Nid âf: ond wedi hynny efe a edifarhaodd, ac a aeth.

30 A phan ddaeth efe at yr ail, efe a ddywedodd yr un modd. Ac efe a attebodd ac a ddywedodd, Myfi a af, arglwydd; ac nid aeth efe.

26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

29 He answered and said, I will not; but afterward he repented, and went.

30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir; and

went not.

31 Pa un o'r ddau a wnaeth 31 Whether of them twain

ewyllys y tad? Dywedasant wrtho, Y cyntaf. Yr Iesu a ddywedodd wrthynt, Yn wir meddaf i chwi, yr â y publicanod a'r putteiniaid i mewn i deyrnas Dduw o'ch blaen chwi.

32 Canys daeth Ioan attoch yn ffordd cyfiawnder, ac ni chredasoch ef: ond y publicanod a'r putteiniaid a'i credasant ef. Chwithau, yn gweled, nid edifarhasoch wedi hynny, fel y credech ef.

33 T Clywch ddammeg arall. Yr oedd rhyw ddyn o berchen tŷ, yr hwn a blannodd winllan, ac a osododd gae yn ei chylch hi, ac a gloddiodd ynddi win-wryf, ac a adeiladodd dŵr, ac a'i gosododd hi allan i lafurwyr, ac a aeth oddi cartref. 34 A phan nesâodd amser ffrwythau, efe a ddanfonodd ei weision at y llafurwyr, i dderbyn ei ffrwythau hi.

35 A'r llafurwyr a ddaliasant ei weision ef, ac un a gurasant, ac arall a laddasant, ac arall a labyddiasant.

36 Trachefn, efe a anfonodd weision eraill, fwy na'r rhai cyntaf: a hwy a wnaethant iddynt yr un modd.

37 Ac yn ddiweddaf oll, efe a anfonodd attynt ei fab ei hun; gan ddywedyd, Hwy a barchant fy mab i.

38 A phan welodd y llafurwyr y mab, hwy a ddywedasant yn eu plith eu hun, Hwn yw yr etifedd; deuwch, lladdwn ef, a daliwn ei etifeddiaeth ef.

39 Ac wedi iddynt ei ddal, hwy a'i bwriasant ef allan o'r winllan, ac a'i lladdasant.

40 Am hynny pan ddêl arglwydd y winllan, pa beth a wna efe i'r llafurwyr hynny ?

41 Hwy a ddywedasant wrtho, Efe a ddifetha yn llwyr y dynion drwg hynny, ac a esyd y winllan i lafurwyr eraill, y rhai a dalant

will of his father? They sa him, The first. Jesus sait them, Verily I say unto you the publicans and the har into the kingdom of God

you.

32 For John came unto the way of righteousness, believed him not; but the cans and the harlots believe and ye, when ye had seen pented not afterward, that ye believe him.

33 Hear another parable: was a certain householder, planted a vineyard, and he round about, and digged a press in it, and built a tow let it out to husbandmen, an into a far country:

34 And when the time of th drew near, he sent his serv the husbandmen, that they receive the fruits of it.

35 And the husbandmen to servants, and beat one, and another, and stoned another.

[graphic]

36 Again, he sent other se more than the first: and th unto them likewise.

37 But last of all he sen them his son, saying, They reverence my son.

38 But when the husba saw the son, they said among selves, This is the heir; con us kill him, and let us seize inheritance.

39 And they caught him, an him out of the vineyard, and him.

40 When the lord therefore vineyard cometh, what will unto those husbandmen? 41 They say unto him, H miserably destroy those w men, and will let out his vin unto other husbandmen,
