10 Ac wele, yr oedd dyn a chanIddo law wedi gwywo. A hwy a ofynasant iddo, gan ddywedyd, Ai rhydd iachâu ar y sabbathau? fel y gallent achwyn arno.

11 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Pa ddyn o honoch fydd a chanddo un ddafad, ac o syrth honno mewn pwll ar y dydd sabbath, nid ymeifl ynddi, a'i chodi allan?

12 Pa faint gwell gan hynny ydyw dyn na dafad? Felly rhydd yw gwneuthur yn dda ar y sabbathau.

13 Yna y dywedodd efe wrth y dyn, Estyn dy law. Ac efe a'i hestynodd; a hi a wnaed yn iach, fel y llall.

14 Yna yr aeth y Phariseaid allan, ac a ymgynghorasant yn ei erbyn ef, pa fodd y difethent ef.

15 A'r Iesu gan wybod, a giliodd oddi yno; a thorfeydd lawer a'i canlynasant ef, ac efe a'u hiachâodd hwynt oll;

16 Ac a orchymynodd iddynt, na wnaent ef yn gyhoedd:

17 Fel y cyflawnid yr hyn a ddywedasid trwy Esaias y prophwyd, gan ddywedyd,

18 Wele fy ngwasanaethwr, yr hwn a ddewisais; fy anwylyd, yn yr hwn y mae fy enaid yn foddlawn: gosodaf fy yspryd arno, ac efe a draetha farn i'r Cenhedloedd. 19 Nid ymryson efe, ac ni lefain; ac ni chlyw neb ei lais ef yn yr heolydd.

20 Corsen ysig nis tŷr, a llin yn mygu nis diffydd, hyd oni ddygo efe allan farn i fuddugoliaeth.

21 Ac yn ei enw ef y gobeithia y Cenhedloedd.

22¶ Yna y dygpwyd atto un cythreulig, dall a mud: ac efe a'i hiachâodd ef, fel y llefarodd ac y gwelodd y dall a mud.

23 A'r holl dorfeydd a synnasant, ac a ddywedasant, Ai hwn yw mab Dafydd?

10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him. 11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? 12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.

14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

16 And charged them that they should not make him known:

17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.

20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

22 ¶ Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the Son of David?

24 Eithr pan glybu y Phariseaid, hwy a ddywedasant, Nid yw hwn yn bwrw allan gythreuliaid, ond trwy Beelzebub pennaeth y cythreuliaid.

25 A'r Iesu yn gwybod eu meddyliau, a ddywedodd wrthynt, Pob teyrnas wedi ymrannu yn ei herbyn ei hun, a anghyfanneddir; a phob dinas neu dŷ wedi ymrannu yn ei erbyn ei hun, ni saif. 26 Ac os Satan a fwrw allan Satan, efe a ymrannodd yn ei erbyn ei hun: pa wedd gan hynny y saif ei deyrnas ef?

27 Ac os trwy Beelzebub yr ydwyf fi yn bwrw allan gythreuliaid, trwy bwy y mae eich plant chwi yn eu bwrw hwynt allan? am hynny y byddant hwy yn farnwyr arnoch chwi.

28 Eithr os ydwyf fi yn bwrw allan gythreuliaid trwy Yspryd Duw, yna y daeth teyrnas Dduw attoch.

29 Neu, pa fodd y dichon neb fyned i mewn i dŷ un cadarn, a llwyr-yspeilio ei ddodrefn ef, oddi eithr iddo yn gyntaf rwymo y cadarn? ac yna yr yspeilia efe ei dŷ ef.

:

30 Y neb nid yw gyd â mi, sydd yn fy erbyn a'r neb nid yw yn casglu gyd â mi, sydd yn gwasgaru. 31 Am hynny y dywedaf wrthych chwi, Pob pechod a chabledd a faddeuir i ddynion: ond cabledd yn erbyn yr Yspryd Glân ni faddeuir i ddynion.

32 A phwy bynnag a ddywedo air yn erbyn Mab y dyn, fe a faddeuir iddo ond pwy bynnag a ddywedo yn erbyn yr Yspryd Glân, nis maddeuir iddo, nac yn y byd hwn, nac yn y byd a ddaw.

33 Naill ai gwnewch y pren yn dda, a'i ffrwyth yn dda; ai gwnewch y pren yn ddrwg, a'i ffrwyth yn ddrwg: canys y pren a adwaenir wrth ei ffrwyth.

34 O eppil gwiberod, pa wedd y

24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.

28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

of the heart the mouth speaketh.

35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly: so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

42 Brenhines y dehau a gyfyd yn 42 The queen of the south shall y farn gyd â'r genhedlaeth hon, ac rise up in the judgment with this a'i condemnia hi; am iddi hi ddy-generation, and shall condemn it: fod o eithafoedd y ddaear i glywed doethineb Solomon: ac wele fwy na Solomon yma.

43 A phan êl yr yspryd aflan allan o ddyn, efe a rodia ar hyd lleoedd sychion, gan geisio gorphwysdra, ac nid yw yn ei gael.

44 Yna medd efe, Mi a ddychwelaf i'm tŷ o'r lle y daethum allan. Ac wedi y delo, y mae yn ei gael yn wag, wedi ei ysgubo a'i drwsio.

for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept. and garnished

45 Yna y mae efe yn myned, ac yn cymmeryd gyd âg ef ei hun saith yspryd eraill gwaeth nag ef ei hun; ac wedi iddynt fyned i mewn, hwy a gyfanneddant yno: ac y mae diwedd y dyn hwnnw yn waeth na'i ddechreuad. Felly y bydd hefyd i'r genhedlaeth ddrwg hon.

46 Tra yr ydoedd efe yn llefaru wrth y torfeydd, wele, ei fam a'i frodyr oedd yn sefyll allan, yn ceisio ymddiddan âg ef.

47 A dywedodd un wrtho, Wele, y mae dy fam di a'th frodyr yn sefyll allan, yn ceisio ymddiddan â thị.

48 Ac efe a attebodd ac a ddywedodd wrth yr hwn a ddywedasai wrtho, Pwy yw fy mam i? a phwy yw fy mrodyr i?

49 Ac efe a estynodd ei law tu ag at ei ddisgyblion, ac a ddywedodd, Wele fy mam i, a'm brodyr i.

50 Canys pwy bynnag a wna ewyllys fy Nhad yr hwn sydd yn y nefoedd, efe yw fy mrawd i, a'm chwaer, a'm mam.

PENNOD XIII.

45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.

47 Then one said unto him, Be hold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.

48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

2 A thorfeydd lawer a ymgynnullasant atto ef, fel yr aeth efe i'r llong, ac yr eisteddodd: a'r holl dyrfa a safodd ar y làn.

3 Ac efe a lefarodd wrthynt lawer o bethau trwy ddammegion, gan ddywedyd, Wele, yr hauwr a aeth allan i hau.

4 Ac fel yr oedd efe yn hau, peth a syrthiodd ar fin y ffordd; a'r adar a ddaethant ac a'i difasant.

5 Peth arall a syrthiodd ar greigleoedd, lle ni chawsant fawr ddaear: ac yn y man yr eginasant, gan nad oedd iddynt ddyfnder daear:

6 Ac wedi codi yr haul, y poeth

2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. 3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to Sow;

4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

6 And when the sun was up, they

9 Y neb sydd ganddo glustiau i wrando, gwrandawed.

10 A daeth y disgyblion, ac a ddywedasant wrtho, Paham yr wyt ti yn llefaru wrthynt trwy ddammegion?

11 Ac efe a attebodd ac a ddywedodd wrthynt, Am roddi i chwi wybod dirgelion teyrnas nefoedd, ac ni roddwyd iddynt hwy.

9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

10 ¶ And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12 Oblegid pwy bynnag sydd

ddo.

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken

13 Am hynny yr ydwyf yn llefaru wrthynt hwy ar ddammegion: canys a hwy yn gweled, nid ydynt yn gweled, ac yn clywed, nid ydynt yn clywed, nac yn deall.

14 Ac ynddynt hwy y cyflawnir prophwydoliaeth Esaias, yr hon sydd yn dywedyd, Gan glywed y clywch, ac ni ddeallwch; ac yn gweled y gwelwch, ac ni chanfyddwch.

15 Canys brasâwyd calon y bobl hyn, a hwy a glywsant a'u clustiau yn drwm, ac a gauasant eu llygaid; rhag canfod â'u llygaid, a chlywed â'u clustiau, a deall â'r galon, a throi, ac i mi eu hiachâu hwynt.

16 Eithr dedwydd yw eich llygaid chwi, am eu bod yn gweled; a'ch clustiau, am eu bod yn clywed.

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive :

15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see and your ears, for they hear.

17 Oblegid yn wir y dywedaf i 17 For verily I say unto you, chwi, chwennychu o lawer o bro- That many prophets and rightphwydi a rhai cyfiawn weled yeous men have desired to see those
