33 Nevertheless I must walk to 33 Er hynny rhaid i mi ymdaith heddyw ac y fory, a thrennydd:| day, and to morrow, and the day canys ni all fod y derfydd am brophwyd allan o Jerusalem. 34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, yr hon wyt yn lladd y prophwydi, ac yn llabyddio y rhai a anfonir attat; pa sawl gwaith y mynnaswn gasglu dy blant ynghyd, y modd y casgl yr iâr ei chywion dan ei hadenydd, ac nis mynnech! 35 Wele, eich tŷ a adewir i chwi yn anghyfannedd. Ac yn wir yr wyf yn dywedyd wrthych, Ni welwch fi, hyd oni ddêl yr amser pan ddywettoch, Bendigedig yw yr hwn sydd yn dyfod yn enw yr Arglwydd. PENNOD XIV. U hefyd, pan ddaeth efe i dŷ aid ar y sabbath, i fwytta bara, iddynt hwythau ei wylied ef. 2 Ac wele, yr oedd ger ei fron ef ryw ddyn yn glaf o'r dropsi. 3 A'r Iesu gan atteb a lefarodd wrth y cyfreithwyr a'r Phariseaid, gan ddywedyd, Ai rhydd iachâu ar y sabbath? 4 A thewi a wnaethant. Ac efe a'i cymmerodd atto, ac a'i hiachâodd ef, ac a'i gollyngodd ymaith; 5 Ac a attebodd iddynt hwythau, ac a ddywedodd, Asyn neu ŷch pa un o honoch a syrth i bwll, ac yn ebrwydd nis tyn ef allan ar y dydd sabbath? 6 Ac ni allent roi atteb yn ei erbyn ef am y pethau hyn. 7 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrth y gwahoddedigion ddammeg, pan ystyriodd fel yr oeddynt yn dewis yr eisteddleoedd uchaf; gan ddywedyd wrthynt, 8 Pan y'th wahodder gan neb i neithior, nac eistedd yn y lle uchaf; rhag bod un anrhydeddusach na thi wedi ei wahodd ganddo ; following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem. 340 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! 35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. CHAPTER XIV. it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him. 2 And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy. 3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? 4 And they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let him go; 5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day? 6 And they could not answer him again to these things. 7 ¶ And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them, 8 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man that thou be bidden of him; 9 Ac i hwn a'th wahoddodd di ac yntau, ddyfod a dywedyd wrthyt, Dyro le i hwn; ac yna dechreu o honot ti trwy gywilydd gymmeryd | y lle isaf. 10 Eithr pan y'th wahodder, dos ac eistedd yn y lle isaf; fel pan ddelo yr hwn a'th wahoddodd di, y gallo efe ddywedyd wrthyt, Y eyfaill, eistedd yn uwch i fynu. Yna y bydd i ti glod y'ngŵydd y rhai a eisteddant gyd â thi ar y bwrdd. 11 Canys pob un a'r a'i dyrchafo ei hun, a ostyngir; a'r hwn sydd yn ei ostwng ei hun, a ddyrchefir. 12 Ac efe a ddywedodd hefyd wrth yr hwn a'i gwahoddasai ef, Pan wnelych giniaw neu swpper, na alw dy gyfeillion, na'th frodyr, na'th geraint, na'th gymmydogion goludog; rhag iddynt hwythau eilchwyl dy wahodd dithau, a gwneuthur taledigaeth i ti. 13 Eithr pan wnelych wledd, galw y tlodion, yr efryddion, y cloffion, y deillion: 14 A dedwydd fyddi; am nad oes ganddynt ddim i dalu i ti: canys fe a delir i ti yn adgyfodiad y rhai cyfiawn. 15 A phan glywodd rhyw un o'r rhai oedd yn eistedd ar y bwrdd y pethau hyn, efe a ddywedodd wrtho, Gwyn ei fyd y neb a fwyttâo fara yn nheyrnas Dduw. 16 Ac yntau a ddywedodd wrtho, Rhyw wr a wnaeth swpper mawr, ac a wahoddodd lawer: 17 Ac a ddanfonodd ei was bryd swpper, i ddywedyd wrth y rhai a wahoddasid, Deuwch; canys weithian y mae pob peth yn barod. 18 A hwy oll a ddechreuasant yn un-fryd ymesgusodi. Y cyntaf a ddywedodd wrtho, Mi a brynais dyddyn, ac y mae yn rhaid i mi fyned a'i weled: attolwg i ti, cymmer fi yn esgusodol. 19 Ac arall a ddywedodd, Mi a brynais bùm iau o ychain, ac yr 9 And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room. 10 But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee. 11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. 12 Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompense be made thee. 13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: 14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just. 15 And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God. 16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: 17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. 18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. 19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go ydwyf yn myned i'w profi hwynt: to prove them: I pray thee have attolwg i ti, cymmer fi yn esgus- me excused. odol. 20 Ac arall a ddywedodd, Mi a briodais wraig; ac am hynny nis gallaf fi ddyfod. 21 A'r gwas hwnnw, pan ddaeth adref, a fynegodd y pethau hyn i'w arglwydd. Yna gwr y tŷ, wedi digio, a ddywedodd wrth ei was, Dos allan ar frys i heolydd ac ystrydoedd y ddinas, a dwg i mewn yma y tlodion, a'r anafus, a'r cloffion, a'r deillion. 22 A'r gwas a ddywedodd, Arglwydd, gwnaethpwyd fel y gorchymynaist; ac etto y mae lle. 23 A'r arglwydd a ddywedodd wrth y gwas, Dos allan i'r prifffyrdd a'r caeau, a chymhell hwynt i ddyfod i mewn, fel y llanwer fy nhŷ. 24 Canys yr wyf yn dywedyd i chwi, na chaiff yr un o'r gwŷr hynny a wahoddwyd, brofi o'm swpper i. 25 A llawer o bobl a gydgerddodd âg ef: ac efe a droes, ac a ddywedodd wrthynt. 26 Os daw neb attaf fi, ac ni chasâo ei dad, a'i fam, a'i wraig, a'i blant, a'i frodyr, a'i chwiorydd, ïe, a'i einioes ei hun hefyd, ni all efe fod yn ddisgybl i mi. 27 A phwy bynnag ni ddycco ei groes, a dyfod ar fy ol i, ni all efe fod yn ddisgybl i mi. 28 Canys pwy o honoch chwi a'i fryd ar adeiladu tŵr, nid eistedd yn gyntaf, a bwrw y draul, a oes ganddo a'i gorpheno? 29 Rhag wedi iddo osod y sail, ac heb allu ei orphen, ddechreu o bawb a'i gwelant ei watwar ef. 30 Gan ddywedyd, Y dyn hwn a ddechreuodd adeiladu, ac ni allodd ei orphen. 31 Neu pa frenhin yn myned i ryfel yn erbyn brenhin arall, nid eistedd yn gyntaf, ac ymgynghori a all efe â deng mil gyfarfod â'r 20 And another said, I have mar. ried a wife, and therefore I cannot come. 21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. 22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. 23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper. 25 ¶ And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. 28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten hwn sydd yn dyfod yn ei erbyn ef | thousand to meet him that cometh âg ugain mil? against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. 32 Ac os amgen, tra fyddo efe yn mhell oddi wrtho, efe a enfyn gennadwri, ac a ddeisyf ammodau heddwch. 33 Felly hefyd, pob un o honoch chwithau nid ymwrthodo â chymmaint oll ag a feddo, ni all fod yn ddisgybl i mi. 34 Da yw yr halen: eithr o bydd yr halen yn ddiflas, â pha beth yr helltir ef? 33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. 34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? 35 Nid yw efe gymmwys nac i'r tir, nac i'r dommen; ond ei fwrw ef allan y maent. Y neb sydd ganddo glustiau i wrando, gwran-hear, let him hear. dawed. 35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to PENNOD XV. yr oedd yr holl bublicanod a'r pechaduriaid yn nesâu atto ef, i wrando arno. 2 A'r Phariseaid a'r ysgrifenydd them. 3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying, 2 And the Pharisees and scribes ion a rwgnachasant, gan ddywed- murmured, saying, This man reyd, Y mae hwn yn derbyn pechad-ceiveth sinners, and eateth with uriaid, ac yn bwytta gyd â hwynt. 3 Ac efe a adroddodd wrthynt y ddammeg hon, gan ddywedyd, 4 Pa ddyn o honoch a chanddo gant o ddefaid, ac os cyll un o honynt, nid yw yn gadael yr amyn un pùm ugain yn yr anialwch, ac yn myned ar ol yr hon a gollwyd, hyd oni chaffo efe hi? 5 Ac wedi iddo ei chael, efe a'i dŷd hi ar ei ysgwyddau ei hun yn llawen. 6 A phan ddêl adref, efe a cilw ynghyd ei gyfeillion a'i gymmydogion, gan ddywedyd wrthynt, Llawenhêwch gyd â mi; canys cefais fy nafad a gollasid. 7 Yr wyf yn dywedyd i chwi, mai felly y bydd llawenydd yn y nef am un pechadur a edifarhâo, mwy nag am onid un pùm ugain o rai cyfiawn, y rhai nid rhaid iddynt wrth edifeirwch. 8 Neu pa wraig, a chanddi ddeg dryll o arian, os cyll hi un dryll, ni oleu ganwyll ac ysgubo y 4 What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? 5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoi cing. 6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. 7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. 8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and tŷ, a cheisio yn ddyfal, hyd onis | sweep the house, and seek dili caffo ef? 9 Ac wedi iddi ei gael, hi a eilw ynghyd ei chyfeillesau a'i chymmydogesau, gan ddywedyd, Cydlawenhêwch â mi; canys cefais y dryll a gollaswn. 10 Felly, meddaf i chwi, y mae llawenydd y'ngŵydd angelion Duw am un pechadur a edifarhâo. 11 Ac efe a ddywedodd, Yr oedd gan ryw wr ddau fab: 12 A'r ieuangaf o honynt a ddywedodd wrth ei dad, Fy nhad, dyro i mi y rhan a ddigwydd o'r dâ. Ac efe a rannodd iddynt ei fywyd. | 13 Ac ar ol ychydig ddyddiau y mab ieuangaf a gasglodd y cwbl ynghyd, ac a gymmerth ei daith i wlad bell; ac yno efe a wasgarodd ei ddâ, gan fyw yn afradlawn. 14 Ac wedi iddo dreulio y cwbl, y cododd newyn mawr trwy y wlad honno; ac yntau a ddechreuodd fod mewn eisieu. 15 Ac efe a aeth ac a lynodd wrth un o ddinaswyr y wlad honno; ac efe a'i hanfonodd ef i'w feusydd i borthi moch. 16 Ac efe a chwennychai lenwi ei fol â'r cibau a fwyttâi y moch; ac ni roddodd neb iddo. 17 A phan ddaeth atto ei hun, efe a ddywedodd, Pa sawl gwas cyflog o'r eiddo fy nhad sydd yn cael eu gwala a'u gweddill o fara, a minnau yn marw o newyn? 18 Mi a godaf, ac a âf at fy nhad, ac a ddywedaf wrtho, Fy nhad, pechais yn erbyn y nef, ac o'th flaen dithau; 19 Ac mwyach nid ydwyf deilwng i'm galw yn fab i ti: gwna fi fel un o'th weision cyflog. 20 Ac efe a gododd, ac a aeth at ei dad. A phan oedd efe etto yn mhell oddi wrtho, ei dad a'i canfu ef, ac a dosturiodd, ac a redodd, ac a syrthiodd ar ei wddf ef, ac a'i cusanodd. gently till she find it? 9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. 10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. 11 And he said, A certain man had two sons: 12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. 13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. 14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. 15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. 17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. |
