20 Ac efe a ddyrchafodd ei olygon ar ei ddisgyblion, ac a ddywedodd, Gwyn eich byd y tlodion: canys eiddoch chwi yw teyrnas Dduw. 21 Gwyn eich byd y rhai ydych yn dwyn newyn yr awrhon: canys chwi a ddigonir. Gwyn eich byd y rhai ydych yn wylo yr awrhon: canys chwi a chwerddwch. 20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.. 21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Gwae chwi y rhai a chwerddwch yr awr hon: canys chwi a alerwch ac a wylwch. 26 Gwae chwi pan ddywedo pob dyn yn dda am danoch: canys felly y gwnaeth eu tadau hwynt i'r gau brophwydi. 27 Ond yr wyf yn dywedyd wrthych chwi y rhai ydych yn gwrando, Cerwch eich gelynion; gwnewch dda i'r rhai a'ch casânt: 28 Bendithiwch y rhai a'ch melldithiant, a gweddïwch dros y rhai a'ch drygant. 29 Ac i'r hwn a'th darawo ar y naill gern, cynnyg y llall hefyd; ac i'r hwn a ddygo ymaith dy gochl, na wahardd dy bais hefyd. 23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. 24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. 25 Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. 26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false proph ets. 27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, 28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. 29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also. 30 A dyro i bob un a geisio 30 Give to every man that askgennyt; a chan y neb a fyddo eth of thee; and of him that takyn dwyn yr eiddot, na chais eil-eth away thy goods ask them not chwyl. 31 Ac fel y mynnech wneuthur o ddynion i chwi, gwnewch chwithau iddynt yr un ffunud. again. 31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 32 Ac os cerwch y rhai a'ch carant | 32 For if ye love them which chwithau, pa ddiolch fydd i chwi ? oblegid y mae pechaduriaid hefyd yn caru y rhai a'u câr hwythau. 33 Ac os gwnewch dda i'r rhai a wnant dda i chwithau, pa ddiolch fydd y chwi? oblegid y mae y pechaduriaid hefyd yn gwneuthur yr un peth. 34 Ac os rhoddwch echwyn i'r rhai yr ydych yn gobeithio y cewch chwithau ganddynt, pa ddiolch fydd i chwi ? oblegid y mae y pechaduriaid hefyd yn rhoddi | echwyn i bechaduriaid, fel y derbyniont y cyffelyb. 35 Eithr cerwch eich gelynion, a gwnewch dda, a rhoddwch echwyn, heb obeithio dim drachefn; a'ch gwobr a fydd mawr, a phlant fyddwch i'r Goruchaf canys daionus yw efe i'r rhai anniolchgar a drwg. 36 Byddwch gan hynny drugarogion, megis ag y mae eich Tad yn drugarog. 37 Ac na fernwch, ac ni'ch bernir: na chondemniwch, ac ni'ch condemnir: maddeuwch, a maddeuir i chwithau: 38 Rhoddwch, a rhoddir i chwi : mesur da, dwysedig, ac wedi ei ysgwyd, ac yn myned trosodd, a roddant yn eich mynwes: canys â'r un mesur ag y mesuroch, y mesurir i chwi drachefn. 39 Ac efe a ddywedodd ddammeg wrthynt: A ddichon y dall dywyso y dall? oni syrthiant ill dau yn y clawdd? 40 Nid yw y disgybl uwch law ei athraw eithr pob un perffaith a fydd fel ei athraw. 41 A phaham yr wyt ti yn edrych ar y brycheuyn sydd yn llygad dy frawd, ac nad ydwyt yn ystyried y trawst sydd yn dy lygad dy hun? 42 Neu pa fodd y gelli di ddywedyd wrth dy frawd, Fy mrawd, gâd i mi dynnu allan y brycheuyn sydd yn dy lygad, a thithau heb love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. 34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: 38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. 39 And he spake a parable unto them; Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? 40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master. 41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beheldest no weled y trawst sydd yn dy lygad | the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye. dy hun? Oragrithiwr, bwrw allan y trawst o'th lygad dy hun yn gyntaf; ac yna y gweli yn eglur dynnu allan y brycheuyn sydd yn llygad dy frawd. 43 Canys nid yw pren da yn dwyn ffrwyth drwg; na phren drwg yn dwyn ffrwyth da. 44 Oblegid pob pren a adwaenir wrth ei ffrwyth ei hun: canys nid oddi ar ddrain y casglant ffigys, nac oddi ar berth yr heliant rawnwin. 45 Y dyn da, o ddaionus drysor ei galon, a ddwg allan ddaioni; a'r dyn drwg, o ddrygionus drysor ei galon, a ddwg allan ddrygioni: canys o helaethrwydd y galon y mae ei enau yn llefaru. 46 Paham hefyd yr ydych yn fy ngalw i, Arglwydd, Arglwydd, ac nad ydych yn gwneuthur yr hyn yr wyf yn ei ddywedyd ? 47 Pwy bynnag a ddêl attaf fi, ac a wrendy fy ngeiriau, ac a'u gwnelo hwynt, mi a ddangosaf i chwi i bwy y mae efe yn gyffelyb. 48 Cyffelyb yw i ddyn yn adeiladu tŷ, yr hwn a gloddiodd, ac a aeth yn ddwfn, ac a osododd ei sail ar y graig: a phan ddaeth llifeiriant, y llif-ddyfroedd a gurodd ar y tŷ hwnnw, ac ni allai ei siglo; canys yr oedd wedi ei seilio ar y graig. 49 Ond yr hwn a wrendy, ac ni wna, cyffelyb yw i ddyn a adeiladai dŷ ar y ddaear, heb sail; ar yr hwn y curodd y llif-ddyfroedd, ac yn y fan y syrthiodd: a chwymp y tŷ hwnnw oedd fawr. 43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. 46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built a house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it; for it was founded upon a rock. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built a house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great. CHAPTER VII. NOW when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Caper naum. 2 And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die. Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.. 4 And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, say. ing, That he was worthy for whom he should do this: 5 For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue. 6 Then Jesus went with them. And he delivered him to his mother. 16 Ac ofn a ddaeth ar bawb a 16 And there came a fear on all: hwy a ogoneddasant Dduw, gan and they glorified God, saying, ddywedyd, Prophwyd mawr a gy- That a great prophet risen up fododd yn ein plith; ac, Ymwelodd among us; and, That God hath Duw â'i bobl. visited his people. 17 A'r gair hwn a aeth allan am dano trwy holl Judea, a thrwy gwbl o'r wlad oddi amgylch. 18 ¶ A'i ddisgyblion a fynegasant i Ioan hyn oll. 19 Ac Ioan, wedi galw rhyw ddau o'i ddisgyblion atto, a anfonodd at yr Iesu, gan ddywedyd, Ai ti yw yr hwn sydd yn dyfod? ai un arall yr ym yn ei ddisgwyl? 20 A'r gwŷr pan ddaethant atto, a ddywedasant, Ioan Fedyddiwr a'n danfonodd ni attat ti, gan ddywedyd, Ai ti yw yr hwn sydd yn dyfod? ai arall yr ŷm yn ei ddisgwyl? 21 A'r awr honno efe a iachâodd lawer oddi wrth glefydau, a phlâau, ac ysprydion drwg; ac i lawer o ddeillion y rhoddes efe eu golwg. 22 A'r Iesu a attebodd ac a ddywedodd wrthynt, Ewch a mynegwch i Ioan y pethau a welsoch ac a glywsoch; fod y deillion yn gweled eilwaith, y cloffion yn rhodio, y gwahan-glwyfus wedi eu glanhâu, y byddariaid yn clywed, y meirw yn cyfodi, y tlodion yn derbyn yr efengyl. 23 A gwyn ei fyd y neb ni rwystrir ynof fi. 24 Ac wedi i genhadau Ioan fyned ymaith, efe a ddechreuodd ddywedyd wrth y bobloedd am Ioan, Beth yr aethoch allan i'r diffaethwch i'w weled? Ai corsen yn siglo gan wynt? 17 And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judea, and throughout all the region round about. 18 And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things. 19 And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? 20 When the men were come unto him, they said, John the Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? 21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. 22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. 23 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. 24 And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind? |
