ddyfod attaf fi, ac na waherddwch | dren to come unto me, and forbid iddynt: canys eiddo y cyfryw rai them not; for of such is the kingyw teyrnas Dduw. dom of God.

15 Yn wir meddaf i chwi, Pwy bynnag ni dderbynio deyrnas Dduw fel dyn bach, nid â efe i mewn iddi.

15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he I shall not enter therein.

16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

16 Ac efe a'u cymmerodd hwy yn ei freichiau, ac a roddes ei ddwylaw arnynt, ac a'u bendithiodd. 17 Ac wedi iddo fyned allan 17 And when he was gone forth i'r ffordd, rhedodd un atto, a gos- into the way, there came one runtyngodd iddo, ac a ofynodd iddo, | ning, and kneeled to him, and ask0, Athraw da, beth a wnaf fel yr ed him, Good Master, what shall I etifeddwyf fywyd tragywyddol ? do that I may inherit eternal life? 18 A'r Iesu a ddywedodd wrtho, 18 And Jesus said unto him, Why Paham y gelwi fi yn dda? nid oes callest thou me good? there is none neb da ond un, sef Duw. good but one, that is, God.

19 Ti a wyddost y gorchymynion, Na odineba, Na ladd, Na ladratta, Na cham-dystiolaetha, Na chamgolleda, Anrhydedda dy dad a'th fam.

20 Yntau a attebodd ac a ddywedodd wrtho, Athraw, y rhai hyn i gŷd a gedwais o'm hieuengetid. 21 A'r Iesu gan edrych arno, a'i hoffodd, ac a ddywedodd wrtho, Un peth sydd ddiffygiol i ti: dos, gwerth yr hyn oll sydd gennyt, a dyro i'r tlodion; a thi a gai drysor yn y nef: a thyred, a chymmer i fynu y groes, a dilyn fi.

22 Ac efe a bruddhâodd wrth yr ymadrodd, ac a aeth ymaith yn athrist: canys yr oedd ganddo feddiannau lawer.

23 A'r Iesu a edrychodd o'i amgylch, ac a ddywedodd wrth ei ddisgyblion, Mor anhawdd yr â y rhai y mae golud ganddynt i deyrnas Dduw !

24 A'r disgyblion a frawychasant wrth ei eiriau ef. Ond yr Iesu a attebodd drachefn, ac a ddywedodd wrthynt,O blant, mor anhawdd yw i'r rhai sydd â'u hymddiried yn eu golud fyned i deyrnas Dduw !

25 Y mae yn haws i gamel fyned trwy grai y nodwydd, nag i oludog fyned i mewn i deyrnas Dduw.

19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.

20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.

21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

26 A hwy a synnasant yn ddirfawr, gan ddywedyd wrthynt eu hunain, A phwy a all fod yn gadwedig?

27 A'r Iesu, wedi edrych arnynt, a ddywedodd, Gyd â dynion ammhosibl yw, ac nid gyd â Duw canys pob peth sydd bosibl gyd â Duw.

28 Yna y dechreuodd Petr ddywedyd wrtho, Wele, nyni a adawsom bob peth, ac a'th ddilynasom di. 29 A'r Iesu a attebodd ac a ddywedodd, Yn wir meddaf i chwi, Nid oes neb a'r a adawodd dŷ, neu frodyr, neu chwiorydd, neu dad, neu fam, neu wraig, neu blant, neu diroedd, o'm hachos i a'r efengyl,

30 A'r ni dderbyn y càn cymmaint yr awrhon y pryd hwn, dai, | a brodyr, a chwiorydd, a mammau, a phlant, a thiroedd, ynghyd âg erlidiau; ac yn y byd a ddaw, fywyd tragywyddol.

31 Ond llawer rhai cyntaf a fyddant ddiweddaf; a'r diweddaf fyddant gyntaf.

32 Ac yr oeddynt ar y ffordd yn myned i fynu i Jerusalem; ac yr oedd yr Iesu yn myned o'u blaen hwynt: a hwy a frawychasant; ac fel yr oeddynt yn canlyn, yr oedd arnynt ofn. Ac wedi iddo drachefn gymmeryd y deuddeg, efe a ddechreuodd fynegi iddynt y pethau a ddigwyddent iddo ef:

33 Canys wele, yr ydym ni yn myned i fynu i Jerusalem; a Mab y dyn a draddodir i'r arch-offeiriaid, ac i'r ysgrifenyddion; a hwy a'i condemniant ef i farwolaeth, ac a'i traddodant ef i'r Cenhedloedd: 34 A hwy a'i gwatwarant ef, ac a'i fflangellant, ac a boerant arno, ac a'i lladdant: a'r trydydd dydd yr adgyfyd.

35 A daeth atto Iago ac Ioan, meibion Zebedeus, gan ddywedyd, Athraw, ni a fynnem wneuthur o honot i ni yr hyn a ddymunem.

27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.

29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

30 But he shall receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and moth ers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.

32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him,

33 Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles: 34 And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him; and the third day he shall rise again.

35 And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.

36 Yntau a ddywedodd wrthynt, Beth a fynnech i mi ei wneuthur i chwi ?

37 Hwythau a ddywedasant wrtho, Caniattâ i ni eistedd, un ar dy ddeheulaw, a'r llall ar dy aswy, yn dy ogoniant.

38 Ond yr Iesu a ddywedodd wrthynt, Ni wyddoch pa beth yr ydych yn ei ofyn: a ellwch chwi yfed o'r cwppan yr wyf fi yn ei yfed? a'ch bedyddio â'r bedydd y'm bedyddir i âg ef?

39 A hwy a ddywedasant wrtho, Gallwn. A'r Iesu a ddywedodd wrthynt, Dïau yr yfwch o'r cwppan yr yfwyf fi; ac y'ch bedyddir â'r bedydd y bedyddir finnau:

40 Ond eistedd ar fy neheulaw a'm haswy, nid eiddof fi ei roddi; pond i'r rhai y darparwyd.

41 A phan glybu y deg, hwy a ddechreuasant fod yn anfoddlawn Kynghylch Iago ac Ioan.

42 A'r Iesu a'u galwodd hwynt atto, ac a ddywedodd wrthynt, Chwi a wyddoch fod y rhai a dybir eu bod yn llywodraethu ar y Cenhedloedd, yn tra-arglwyddiaethu arnynt; a'u gwŷr mawr hwynt yn tra-awdurdodi arnynt. 1 43 Eithr nid felly y bydd yn eich plith chwi: ond pwy bynnag a ewyllysio fod yn fawr yn eich plith, bydded weinidog i chwi; 44 A phwy bynnag o honoch a fynno fod yn bennaf, bydded was i bawb.

45 Canys ni ddaeth Mab y dyn i'w wasanaethu, ond i wasanaethu, ac i roi ei einioes yn brid❘ werth dros lawer.

46 T A hwy a ddaethant i Jericho. Ac fel yr oedd efe yn myned allan o Jericho, efe a'i ddisgyblion, a bagad o bobl, Bartimeus ddall, mab Timeus, oedd yn eistedd ar fin y ffordd, yn cardotta. 47 A phan glybu mai yr Iesu o Nazareth ydoedd, efe a ddechreu

36 And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you?

37 They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.

38 But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?

39 And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:

40 But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.

41 And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.

42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.

43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:

44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.

45 For even the Son of man came

not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

46 And they came to Jericho : and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimeus, the son of Timeus, sat by the highway side begging.

47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began

odd lefain, a dywedyd, Iesu, mab | to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Dafydd, trugarhâ wrthyf.

48 A llawer a'i ceryddasant ef, i geisio ganddo dewi: ond efe a lefodd yn fwy o lawer, Mab Dafydd, trugarhâ wrthyf.

49 A'r Iesu a safodd, ac a archodd ei alw ef. A hwy a alwasant y dall, gan ddywedyd wrtho, Cymmer galon; cyfod: y mae efe yn dy alw di.

50 Ond efe, wedi taflu ei gochl ymaith, a gyfododd, ac a ddaeth at yr Iesu.

51 A'r Iesu a attebodd ac a ddywedodd wrtho, Beth a fynni i mi ei wneuthur i ti? A'r dall a ddywedodd wrtho, Athraw, caffael o honof fy ngolwg.

52 A'r Iesu a ddywedodd wrtho, Dos ymaith dy ffydd a'th iachâodd. Ac yn y man y cafodd efe ei olwg, ac efe a ddilynodd yr Iesu ar hyd y ffordd.

PENNOD XI.

Son of David, have mercy on me. 48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.

50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.

51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.

52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

ania, hyd fynydd yr Olew-wydd, efe a anfonodd ddau o'i ddisgyblion,

:

2 Ac a ddywedodd wrthynt, Ewch ymaith i'r pentref sydd gyferbyn â chwi ac yn y man wedi y deloch i mewn iddo, chwi a gewch ebol wedi ei rwymo, ar yr hwn nid eisteddodd neb; gollyngwch ef yn rhydd, a dygwch ymaith.

3 Ac os dywed neb wrthych, Paham y gwnewch hyn? dywedwch, Am fod yn rhaid i'r Arglwydd wrtho; ac yn ebrwydd efe a'i denfyn yma.

4 A hwy a aethant ymaith, ac a gawsant yr ebol yn rhwym wrth y drws oddi allan, mewn croesffordd; ac a'i gollyngasant ef yn rhydd.

5 A rhai o'r rhai oedd yn sefyll yno a ddywedasant wrthynt, Beth a wnewch chwi, yn gollwng yr ebol yn rhydd?

Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,

2 And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.

6 A hwy a ddywedasant wrthynt fel y gorchymynasai yr Iesu: a hwy a adawsant iddynt fyned ymaith.

7 A hwy a ddygasant yr ebol at yr Iesu, ac a fwriasant eu dillad arno; ac efe a eisteddodd arno.

8 A llawer a daenasant eu dillad ar hyd y ffordd: ac eraill a dorrasant gangau o'r gwŷdd, ac a'u taenasant ar y ffordd.

9 A'r rhai oedd yn myned o'r blaen, a'r rhai oedd yn dyfod ar ol, a lefasant, gan ddywedyd, Hosanna: Bendigedig fyddo yr hwn sydd yn dyfod yn enw yr Arglwydd. 10 Bendigedig yw y deyrnas sydd yn dyfod yn enw Arglwydd ein tad Dafydd: Hosanna yn y goruchaf.

11 A'r Iesu a aeth i mewn i Jerusalem, ac i'r deml: ac wedi iddo edrych ar bob peth o'i amgylch, a hi weithian yn hwyr, efe a aeth allan i Bethania gyd â'r deuddeg.

12 ¶A thrannoeth, wedi iddynt ddyfod allan o Bethania, yr oedd arno chwant bwyd.

13 Ac wedi iddo ganfod o hirbell ffigysbren âg arno ddail, efe a aeth i edrych a gaffai ddim arno. A phan ddaeth atto, ni chafodd efe ddim ond y dail: canys nid oedd amser ffigys.

14 A'r Iesu a attebodd ac a ddywedodd wrtho, Na fwyttâed neb ffrwyth o honot byth mwy. A'i ddisgyblion ef a glywsant.

15 A hwy a ddaethant i Jerusalem. A'r Iesu a aeth i'r deml, ac a ddechreuodd fwrw allan y rhai a werthent ac a brynent yn y deml; ac a ymchwelodd drestlau yr arianwyr, a chadeiriau y gwerthwyr colommenod:

16 Ac ni adawai efe i neb ddwyn llestr trwy y deml.

17 Ac efe a'u dysgodd, gan ddywedyd wrthynt, Onid yw yn ysgrifenedig, Y gelwir fy nhŷ i yn dŷ

6 And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.

7 And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.

8 And many spread their garments in the way; and others cut down branches off the trees, and strewed them in the way.

9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:

10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

11 And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he. might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of them that sold doves;

16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.

17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the
