23 Yr holl ddrwg bethau hyn sydd yn dyfod oddi mewn, ac yn halogi dyn.

24 Ac efe a gyfododd oddi yno, ac a aeth i gyffiniau Tyrus a Sidon; ac a aeth i mewn i dŷ, ac ni fynnasai i neb wybod: eithr ni allai efe fod yn guddiedig.

25 Canys pan glybu gwraig, yr hon yr oedd ei merch fechan âg yspryd aflan ynddi, sôn am dano, hi a ddaeth ac a syrthiodd wrth ei draed ef:

26 (A Groeges oedd y wraig, Syrophenisiad o genedl) a hi a attolygodd iddo fwrw y cythraul allan o'i merch.

27 A'r Iesu a ddywedodd wrthi, Gâd yn gyntaf i'r plant gael eu digoni: canys nid cymhwys yw cymmeryd bara y plant, a'i daflu i'r cenawon cwn.

28 Hithau a attebodd ac a ddywedodd wrtho, Gwir, O Arglwydd: ac etto y mae y cenawon dan y bwrdd yn bwytta o friwsion y plant.

29 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthi, Am y gair hwnnw dos ymaith; aeth y cythraul allan o'th ferch. 30 Ac wedi iddi fyned i'w thŷ, hi a gafodd fyned o'r cythraul allan, a'i merch wedi ei bwrw ar y gwely.

31 Ac efe a aeth drachefn ymaith o dueddau Tyrus a Sidon, ac a ddaeth hyd for Galilea, trwy ganol terfynau Decapolis.

32 A hwy a ddygasant atto un byddar, âg attal dywedyd arno; ac a attolygasant iddo ddodi ei law arno ef.

22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolish

ness:

23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

24 And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into a house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.

25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:

26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.

27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's | bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.

28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.

30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.

31 And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis.

32 And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.

33 Ac wedi iddo ei gymmeryd ef o'r neilldu allan o'r dyrfa, efe a estynodd ei fysedd yn ei glustiau ef, ac wedi iddo boeri, efe a gyffyrddodd â'i dafod ef;

34 A chan edrych tu a'r nef, efe a ocheneidiodd, ac a ddywedodd wrtho, Ephphatha, hynny yw, Ymagor.

35 Ac yn ebrwydd ei glustiau ef a agorwyd, a rhwym ei dafod a ddattod wyd; ac efe a lefarodd yn eglur.

36 Ac efe a waharddodd iddynt ddywedyd i neb: ond po mwyaf y gwaharddodd efe iddynt, mwy o lawer y cyhoeddasant.

33 And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;

34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.

35 And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.

36 And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;

37 And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to

̈N y dyddiau hynny, pan oedd y dyrfa yn fawr iawn, ac heb ganddynt ddim i'w fwytta, y galwodd yr Iesu ei ddisgyblion atto, ac a ddywedodd wrthynt,

2 Yr wyf fi yn tosturio wrth y dyrfa, oblegid y maent hwy dridiau weithian yn aros gyd â mi, ac nid oes ganddynt ddim i'w fwytta:

3 Ac os gollyngaf hwynt ymaith ar eu cythlwng i'w teiau eu hunain, hwy a lewygant ar y ffordd : canys rhai o honynt a ddaeth o bell.

4 A'i ddisgyblion ef a'i hattebasant, O ba le y gall neb ddigoni y rhai hyn â bara yma yn yr anialwch?

5 Ac efe a ofynodd iddynt, Pa sawl torth sydd gennych? A hwy a ddywedasant, Saith.

6 Ac efe a orchymynodd i'r dyrfa eistedd ar y llawr: ac a gymmerodd y saith dorth, ac a ddiolchodd, ac a'u torrodd hwynt, ac a'u rhoddes i'w ddisgyblion, fel y

gosodent hwynt ger eu bronnau; a gosodasant hwynt ger bron y bobl. 7 Ac yr oedd ganddynt ychydig bysgod bychain: ac wedi iddo fendithio, efe a barodd ddodi y rhai hynny hefyd ger eu bronnau hwynt. 8 A hwy a fwyttasant, ac a ddigonwyd: a hwy a godasant o'r briwfwyd gweddill, saith fasgedaid. 9 A'r rhai a fwyttasent oedd ynghylch pedair mil: ac efe a'u gollyngodd hwynt ymaith.

10 Ac yn y man, wedi iddo fyned i long gyd â'i ddisgyblion, efe a ddaeth i barthau Dalmanutha.

11 A'r Phariseaid a ddaethant allan, ac a ddechreuasant ymholi âg ef, gan geisio ganddo arwydd o'r nef, gan ei demtio.

12 Yntau, gan ddwys-ocheneidio yn ei yspryd, a ddywedodd, Beth a wna y genhedlaeth yma yn ceisio arwydd? Yn wir meddaf i chwi, Ni roddir arwydd i'r genhedlaeth

yma.

13 Ac efe a'u gadawodd hwynt, ac a aeth i'r llong drachefn, ac a dynnodd ymaith i'r làn arall.

14 A'r disgyblion a adawsant yn anghof gymmeryd bara, ac nid oedd ganddynt gyd â hwynt ond un dorth yn y llong.

= t 15 Yna y gorchymynodd efe iddynt, gan ddywedyd, Gwyliwch, ymogelwch rhag surdoes y Phariseaid, a surdoes Herod.

16 Ac ymresymmu a wnaethant y naill wrth y llall, gan ddywedyd, Hyn sydd oblegid nad oes gennym fara.

17 A phan wybu yr Iesu, efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Pa ymresymmu yr ydych, am nad oes gennych fara? onid ydych chwi etto yn ystyried, nac yn deall? ydyw eich calon etto gennych wedi caledu?

18 A chennych lygaid, oni welwch? a chennych glustiau, oni chlywch? ac onid ydych yn cofio? 19 Pan dorrais y pum torth hynny ym mysg y pum mil, pa sawl

7 And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them.

8 So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets. 9 And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away.

10 ¶ And straightway he entered into a ship with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.

11 And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him.

12 And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

13 And he left them, and entering into the ship again departed to the other side.

14 Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.

15 And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven

of Herod.

16 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread.

17 And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?

18 Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?

19 When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many

23 Ac wedi ymaflyd yn llaw y dall, efe a'i tywysodd ef allan o'r dref: ac wedi iddo boeri ar ei lygaid ef, a dodi ei ddwylaw arno, efe a ofynodd iddo, a oedd efe yn gweled dim.

24 Ac wedi edrych i fynu, efe a ddywedodd, Yr ydwyf yn gweled dynion megis prennau yn rhodio. 25 Wedi hynny y gosododd efe ei ddwylaw drachefn ar ei lygaid ef, ac a barodd iddo edrych i fynu ac efe a gafodd ei olwg, ac efe a welai bawb o bell, ac yn eglur. 26 Ac efe a'i hanfonodd ef adref, i'w dŷ, gan ddywedyd, Na ddos i'r dref, ac na ddywed i neb yn y dref.

27 ¶ A'r Iesu a aeth allan, efe a'i ddisgyblion, i drefi Cesarea Philippi: ac ar y ffordd efe a ofynodd i'w ddisgyblion, gan ddywedyd wrthynt, Pwy y mae dynion yn dywedyd fy mod i?

28 A hwy a attebasant, Ioan Fedyddiwr; a rhai, Elias; ac eraill, Un o'r prophwydi.

29 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Ond pwy yr ydych chwi yn dywedyd fy mod i? A Phetr a attebodd ac a ddywedodd wrtho, Ti yw y Crist.

30 Ac efe a orchymynodd iddynt na ddywedent i neb am dano.

20 And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.

21 And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand? 22 And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.

23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw aught.

24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up; and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.

27 And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Cesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?

28 And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets.

29 And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.

30 And he charged them that they should tell no man of him.

32 A'r ymadrodd hwnnw a ddywedodd efe yn eglur. A Phetr a ymaflodd ynddo, ac a ddechreuodd ei geryddu ef.

33 Eithr wedi iddo droi, ac edrych ar ei ddisgyblion, efe a geryddodd Petr, gan ddywedyd, Dos ymaith yn fy ol i, Satan; am nad wyt yn synied y pethau sydd o Dduw, ond y pethau sydd o ddynion.

34 Ac wedi iddo alw atto y dyrfa, gyd â'i ddisgyblion, efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Y neb a fynno ddyfod ar fy ol i, ymwaded âg ef ei hun, a chyfoded ei groes, a dilyned fi.

35 Canys pwy bynnag a fynno gadw ei einioes, a'i cyll hi; ond pwy bynnag a gollo ei einioes er fy mwyn i a'r efengyl, hwnnw a'i ceidw hi.

36 Canys pa lesâd i ddyn, os ynnill yr holl fyd, a cholli ei enaid ei hun?

37 Neu pa beth a rydd dyn yn gyfnewid am ei enaid?

38 Canys pwy bynnag a fyddo cywilydd ganddo fi a'm geiriau yn yr odinebus a'r bechadurus genhedlaeth hon; bydd cywilydd gan Fab y dyn yntau hefyd, pan ddêl y'ngogoniant ei Dad, gyd â'r angelion sanctaidd.

i chwi, fod rhai o'r rhai sydd yn sefyll yma, ni phrofant angau, hyd oni welont deyrnas Dduw wedi dyfod mewn nerth.

2 Ac wedi chwe diwrnod, y cymmerth yr Iesu Petr, ac Iago, ac loan, ac a'u dug hwynt i fynydd uchel, eu hunain o'r neilldu: ac efe a wedd-newidiwyd yn eu gwydd hwynt.

32 And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.

33 But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

CHAPTER IX.

ND he said unto them, Verily A I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
