10 A phan oedd efe wrtho ei hun, y rhai oedd yn ei gylch ef gyd â'r deuddeg a ofynasant iddo am y ddammeg.

11 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, I chwi y rhodded gwybod dirgelwch teyrnas Dduw eithr i'r rhai sydd allan, ar ddammegion y gwneir pob peth:

12 Fel yn gweled y gwelant, ac na chanfyddant; ac yn clywed y clywant, ac ni ddeallant; rhag iddynt ddychwelyd, a maddeu iddynt eu pechodau.

13 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Oni wyddoch chwi y ddammeg hon? a pha fodd y gwybyddwch yr holl ddammegion?

14 Yr hauwr sydd yn hau y gair: 15 A'r rhai hyn yw y rhai ar fin y ffordd, lle yr hauir y gair; ac wedi iddynt ei glywed, y mae Satan yn dyfod yn ebrwydd, ac yn dwyn ymaith y gair a hauwyd yn eu calonnau hwynt.

16 A'r rhai hyn yr un ffunud yw y rhai a hauir ar y creigle; y rhai, wedi clywed y gair, sydu yn ebrwydd yn ei dderbyn ef yn llawen;

6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some a hundred.

9 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.

11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mys tery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

14 The sower soweth the word. 15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

18 And these they which are

20 A'r rhai hyn yw y rhai, a hauwyd mewn tir da; y rhai sydd yn gwrando y gair, ac yn ei dderbyn, ac yn dwyn ffrwyth, un ddeg ar hugain, ac un dri ugain, ac un gant. 21 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, A ddaw canwyll i'w dodi dan lestr, neu dan wely? ac nid i'w gosod ar ganhwyllbren?

22 Canys nid oes dim cuddiedig, a'r nis amlygir; ac ni bu ddim dirgel, ond fel y delai i eglurdeb.

23 Od oes gan neb glustiau i wrando, gwrandawed.

24 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Edrychwch beth a wrandawoch. A pha fesur y mesuroch, y mesurir i chwithau; a chwanegir i chwi, y rhai a wrandewch.

25 Canys yr hwn y mae ganddo, y rhoddir iddo: a'r hwn nid oes ganddo, ïe, yr hyn sydd ganddo a ddygir oddi arno.

26 ¶ Ac efe a ddywedodd, Felly y mae teyrnas Dduw, fel pe bwriai ddyn had i'r ddaear;

27 A chysgu, a chodi nos a dydd, a'r had yn egino ac yn tyfu, y modd nis gŵyr efe.

29 A phan ymddangoso y ffrwyth, yn ebrwydd y rhydd efe y crymman ynddo, am ddyfod y cynhauaf.

30 Ac efe a ddywedodd, I ba beth y cyffelybem deyrnas Dduw? neu ar ba ddammeg y gwnaem gyffelybrwydd o honi?

19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.

21 And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?

22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. 23 If any man have cars to hear, let him hear.

24 And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear. With what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you; and unto you that hear shall more be given.

25 For he that hath, to him shall be given; and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.

26 ¶ And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.

28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full

30 And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?

31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the

sydd ar y ddaear.

32 Eithr wedi yr hauer, y mae yn tyfu, ac yn myned yn fwy nâ'r holl lysiau, ac efe a ddwg ganghennau mawrion: fel y gallo ehediaid yr awyr nythu dan ei gysgod ef.

33 Ac â chyfryw ddammegion lawer y traethodd efe iddynt y gair, hyd y gallent ei wrando.

34 Ond heb ddammeg ni lefarodd wrthynt: ac o'r neilldu i'w ddisgyblion efe a eglurodd bob peth.

35 ¶ Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt y dwthwn hwnnw, wedi ei hwyrhâu hi, Awn trosodd i'r tu draw.

36 Ac wedi iddynt ollwng ymaith y dyrfa, hwy a'i cymmerasant ef fel yr oedd yn y llong: ac yr oedd hefyd longau eraill gyd âg ef.

37 Ac fe a gyfododd tymmestl fawr o wynt, a'r tonnau a daflasant i'r llong, hyd onid oedd hi yn llawn weithian.

38 Ac yr oedd efe yn y pen ôl i'r llong, yn cysgu ar obennydd: a hwy a'i deffroisant ef, ac a ddywedasant wrtho, Athraw, a'i difatter gennyt ein colli ni?

39 Ac efe a gododd i fynu, ac a geryddodd y gwynt ac a ddywedodd wrth y môr, Gostega, distawa. A'r gwynt a ostegodd, a bu tawelwch mawr.

40 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Paham yr ydych mor ofnog? pa fodd nad oes gennych ffydd?

41 Eithr hwy a ofnasant yn ddirfawr, ac a ddywedasant wrth eu gilydd, Pwy yw hwn, gan fod y gwynt a'r môr yn ufuddhâu iddo?

3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:

4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces neither could any man tame him.

5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.

6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,

10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great hera of swine feeding.
