Law of the trespass offering.

LEVITICUS, VII. flesh thereof u shall be holy and B. C. 1490. when there is sprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it was sprinkled in the holy place.

28 But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken; and if it be sodden in a brazen pot, itv ch.10.18. shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water.

29 All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy. 30 And no sin offering, whereof any of the blood v is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation, to reconcile withal in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be burnt in the fire.

19 And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.

20 But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offer19.ings, that pertain unto the LORD, 0 having his uncleanness upon him. even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

21 Moreover the soul that shall p touch any unclean thing, as q the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any r abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be s cut off from his people.

22 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

15 The heave-shoulder and the wave-breast shall they bring, with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be thine, and thy sons' with thee, by a statute for ever; as the LORD hath commanded. 16 And Moses diligently sought a the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burnt: and he was. angry with Eleazar and Ithamar. the sons of Aaron which were left alive, saying,

17 Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it is most holy, and God hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?

18 Behold, the blood of it was not brought in within the holy place: ye should indeed have eaten it in the holy place, q as I commanded.

20 And when Moses heard that, he was content.
