People or Choir. Be honor and glory, through Jesus Christ, forever and ever.

Amen.

GOD

DEUS MISEREATUR.

Psalm lxvii.

OD be merciful unto us and bless us, and show us the light of his countenance, and be merciful unto us.

That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations."

Let the people praise thee, O GOD; yea, let all the people praise thee.

O, let the nations rejoice and be glad; for thou shalt judge the folk righteously, and govern the nations upon earth.

Let the people praise thee, O GOD; yea, let all the people praise thee.

Then shall the earth bring forth her increase; and GOD, even our own GOD, shall give us his blessing.

GOD shall bless us; and all the ends of the world shall fear him.

PRAIS

Or this.

BENEDIC, ANIMA MEA.

Psalm ciii.

RAISE the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, praise his holy Name.

Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits;

Who forgiveth all thy sin, and healeth all thine infirmities:

Who saveth thy life from destruction, and crowneth thee with mercy and loving kindness.

O, praise the LORD, ye Angels of his, ye that excel in strength; ye that fulfil his commandment, and hearken unto the voice of his word.

O, praise the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye servants of his, that do his pleasure.

O, speak good of the Lord, all ye works of his, in all places of his dominion. Praise thou the Lord, O my soul.

GLORIA PATRI.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost:

Answer. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Here, in the Vesper Service, may be said or chanted these Beatitudes, or Psalm viii.

BLE

LESSED are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

¶ Here may be read a Lesson from the New Testament, after which a Psalm may be sung, or a Hymn, unannounced.

Then shall follow a brief Exposition or Address, at the close of which the Minister shall say :

Let us pray.

Then the Minister shall say the Lord's Prayer; the people repeating it with him, both here, and wheresoever else it is used in Divine Service.

OUR

UR Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom, and

the power, and the glory, forever and ever.

Amen.

¶Then shall be sung a parting Hymn by Choir and Congregation, after which the Benediction shall be pronounced, the Choir responding, " AMEN."
