Some humor is found in nurses, doctors, and hospitals, although suffering is ongoing. He never surrenders, even at the cost of his job and status, discovering a treasure as the motivator to continue battling diabetes daily. Thr joy is never to be traded, and available to the healthy, but especially to the chronically ill.
